Dining at this hibachi restaurant was nothing short of an enjoyable and immersive experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive, setting the tone for a delightful evening. The restaurant’s ambiance was equally impressive, with carefully curated lighting and décor that created an inviting and lively atmosphere. For my meal, I opted for the Grilled Salmon accompanied by fried rice and sautéed vegetables (not pictured, as they were prepared separately). Each component was expertly cooked, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The true highlight of the evening, however, was the hibachi chef. Not only was he exceptionally skilled in his craft, but he also exuded a charismatic and engaging presence. He interacted with our table effortlessly, making the experience both entertaining and personal. It was evident that he took great care in preparing our meals to our exact preferences while ensuring we felt comfortable and encouraged to engage in conversation. Overall, this was an outstanding dining experience—one that seamlessly blended delicious cuisine with lively entertainment and top-tier hospitality. Without a doubt, a perfect 10/10!

Kind of a sad Japanese steakhouse. Our chef did not know what he was doing, was very disorganized and blamed everything on the "unprofessional" people that work there. The food was bland, he kept having to stop and go back to the kitchen to get things. After he made everyone else's entrees and was starting to end things he realized that he had forgotten to bring my chicken out and had to go back to the kitchen once again to get it. By the time I was finally served everyone else at the table was finished and the waiter was bringing everyone's bills. I got to finish my dinner at an empty table filled with everyone's finished dinner plates. The sauces were not like other Japanese steakhouses and were so sweet that nobody ended up using them.

First time here and will definitely be back. We read reviews and we were not disappointed. We got hibachi steak, shrimp, and chicken. The chicken was a little dry but the steak was amazing as well as the shrimp and vegetables. Of course the fried rice was so good, too. Our hibachi chef was very entertaining and made for a fun night. My daughter and I tried the sushi. It was very good and freshly made. The appetizer salad dressing was incredible. The flavor combinations and freshness was incredible. We came on a Friday night and had to wait about 30 minutes. Definitely worth the wait!

Went for my sons 16th birthday last week... trying to call ahead, but was told we don't take reservations.... We get there 20 minutes later and they tell us it's about a 30 minute wait because other people have walked in so we stay OK and wait after 30 minutes the other big party that was there gets sat and I go up to ask how much longer for us and they say another 30 minutes then a group of 10 walks in and goes straight to a hibachi grill right away so I asked the hostess what's up with that? I thought y'all don't take reservations she RUDELY replies they are VIP guests of the owner and get seated whenever they want first before anyone so I asked to speak to the manager she reiterates this and both are extremely rude and finally after another 45 minutes with a party of 10 one of which is a diabetic and needs to be eating at this point we get sat down and the waitress was the only good person we dealt with from that establishment that evening that hibachi cook we got was a dud. He had a mask on and had no interaction or personality. The food was cooked decent but nothing spectacular especially not for the $300 we dropped that night. We had a similar experience two years ago and had not been back to the hibachi since. We've tried it a few times at lunch, but the food was so salty, it was an inedible, needless to say we won't be back, they overcharge, the only hibachi I've ever been to that charges on top of there are ready high prices an additional $2.50 per plate for fried rice . Don't waste your time on this place! Rude staff, mediocre food that's...

Me and my family wanted to celebrate my birthday having lunch at this restaurant, they had a sign saying that they open at 12 o'clock every day; however, when we arrived around 12:30 p.m. a lady (I think it was the manager or the owner) in a very rude way told us that the restaurant was not open yet, basically she kicked us out that day... A couple weeks ago we decided to give it another opportunity and see if the customer service was better. BIG MISTAKE!!! First of all, the waitress was a young girl (Probably high school or college student), in a bad attitude and terrible customer service. She was like hatting to work at the restaurant; secondly, we asked for some Sprites and we got the closest thing to dirty water with ice, then we asked the waitress to replace them and well, you can imagine how happy she was just because we asked for some service, BTW, she ended up bringing the wrong sodas. Thirdly, we didn't get salad with our order knowing that we were supposed to have it. Fourthly, they took forever to bring the food and finally, we paid a lot of money for only three plates of food. A good friend of mine recommended me Sumo Japanese Restaurant in Longview! Now I recommend to every single person reading this review to do not waste your money at InJapan restaurant! Go to Sumo Japanese Restaurant in Longview and get delicious Japanese food and a wonderful customer service for half...

I would not even give this place a star but in order to write a review I had to.. This place was a joke we walked in got seated and the waitress took our drink order but we had to tell her 3 different yes what we all wanted. We get our drinks and my husband still had to wait on his beer after she brought us a lemonade my sweet tea and the other couple that was with us there two drinks witch was wrong. We. Finally after about 10 mins got to order our food and we were sitting there talking and another couple walked in and after a hour waiting on our food we noticed the couple that walked in after us had already got there salads that they said they were out of and was getting there food before us. As we were complaining they bring us our salads(they did not have anymore of) and soup and right behind that was someone else with our food not even everyone's food at the table just my husbands and the other guy that was with us food. The food was ice cold and the manager by this time was at our table and said we go heat it up we were like no we want fresh but we don't want to wait another hour forore cold food. So she said we no pay everything on the house we said no thinks and walked out ended up at Applebee's and they were amazing... I will not be going back to this place there...
