La Mexicana Taqueria — Restaurant in Marshall

This is our 4th time coming here, and we are new in town. We wanted breakfast. We walked in, we got no good morning not even a look to who came in. 1 person was already eating close to the register area. We sat ourselves down waited for the waitress. Nothing. We can hear people in the kitchen. Still nothing from anyone. So I grabbed some menus that were by the register. We were looking at them and just figuring out what to get when she finally appears. My hi said good morning she just 🫤 nodded. We asked for coffees with creamer. She came back and no liquid creamer only powder. I asked, but “don’t have any liquid creamer”,she says. Our food was great 5⭐️ that I’ll give good marks for. Place was clean 5⭐️, that’s good. Only 1 star ⭐️ because she showed up, but she was not attentive to customers. As others came in she took just as long to bring menus to any one. We had to get her attention by standing up just so she would even look our way ( that was only 4 1/2 feet away from us) to tell her what else we needed.🙄 she just didn’t want to check on us or others to see if they needed anything else or if we are ok as others do. Our first dinning experience at this establishment where we seated ourselves in the small diningroom with dated decor, tables and metal framed chairs. Our waitress delivered menus that were in Spanish with a select items translated into English along with drinks limited to those imported from Mexico or water. After placing our order we nibbled on the chips and salsa, both red and green with the red being HOT🌶. When our meals were delivered we were only given one set of silverware but the meals were hot and tasty. By this time the dining room had filled with one person operating the register, waitressing, delivering togos and answering the phone so trying to get refills and another set of silverware was tricky. Finally time to pay the bill and they only accept cash💵 for payment. We left full and happy so a definite return visit...

Very nasty gross and tasteless They take forever and your sitting there thinking “man it must be good and from scratch No they came out with some store bought plastic fake like tortillas I can’t even call them tortillas it’s an insult I’m from San Antonio and just wanted a good Mexican place to eat but this is far from it Over priced they only accept cash and they take forever I literally had to put 3 bean and cheese tacos together to make one and the food was cold literally like they didn’t even try to warm up the tortilla Stay away from this place and to top it off the lady at the register had attitude like she doesn’t need to be there my suggestion “LEAVE AND SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY BUYER...
