B's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Marshfield

So we got a large sundae with hot fudge and whip with a non dairy ice cream the Cinnamon latte flavor. The whip and fudge were good but the actual icecream was terrible. It had a bland under sweetened flavor and the texture was gritty and chalky as if it was freezer burned. We ate it since it was our dumb fault ordering that flavor without asking for a sample before hand. But needless to say it was anticlimactic and extremely disappointing especially after having coughed up over 8 bucks for this sundae……Updated to three stars as they said they will check out why the icecream tasted so freezer burnt and offered to refund our purchase. Awesome ice cream, and a lovely location. My family has a cottage in Marshfield, and over the years I've sampled a lot of ice cream places in the area. My old favorite was Jan's but they are long gone. Just heard about B's and I am so glad I did. They have about 15-20 flavors including specials. They have a wide range of toppings and goodies. I got cherry vanilla chip and watermelon sherbet. Both were delicious. The watermelon sherbet was particularly nice as you don't see that everywhere. Staff was lovely and prices are reasonable. So Disappointed for the first time in over 2 years tonight. And I get this ice cream once a week, sometimes twice….even when it’s during the winter months.
