So disappointed... I had read rave reviews for JP's in a FB food group I'm part of so I went with high expectations.

My friend and I went for lunch. We shared an order of the Twisted Potatoes, which were described as like chips on a skewer. The twist was there, but they were not crisp, were greasy and had no seasoning. Not even a side of ranch dressing helped.

My friend has a BLT with fries and I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich witj onion rings. Both of our orders came with fries. Our waitress had to put in a second order for my onion rings, so while I was waiting I tried a fry. Just as with the twisted potatoes, the fries were not crisp, were greasy and had no seasoning at all.

My chicken sandwich was made up of two chicken tenders vs a nice single piece of chicken. They were on the dry side and again no seasoning, and my bun was soggy. When the onions rings arrived, they were also greasy and unseasoned.

My guess, the fry oil was just not heated properly which is why everything was greasy, but the lack of seasoning??

The staff was friendly and they did take the twisted potatoes off our ticket and offered other things on the menu to replace my meal, but honestly I was not too hopeful anything would be better so I did not try anything else.

There are too many other good options in the area, so I...

Staff seemed a little rude at first then became somewhat attentive, lacked on refills of strawberry lemonade [ powdered] a robbery $8..like really??!!. Food was disgusting, I had a chorizo omelet...what a disaster and disappointment, my son had the fish n chips...disgusting and doughy [ like all dough no fish] fries were gross no flavor and cooked in old oil [literally you can taste it] supd to come with tartar sauce had to ask like 3X for it!! When it's included!! Straight disgusting, inedible, flavorless and very pricey for something that should've cost arnd $30-$40 bucks OUR BILL WAS LIKE $65 AFTERWARDS for 1 adult and 1 kid!! Chinese restaurant turned American/Spanish Mex. Disgusting. I work hard for my money and don't mind paying for good food and service. This was by far one of the WORST EXPERIENCES OF OUR LIVES!! How do these businesses manage to stay open selling crap like that!! Very disappointed. DON'T SPEND UR HARD EARNED MONEY THERE!! BEST OFF AT IHOP OR DENNYS!! 💯 BETTER FOOD AND SERVICE AT THOSE PLACES. AT LEAST YOU KNOW WHAT...

Came for the first time today and everything seemed fine. Food was great honestly, but it was pricey in the end. Spent almost $75 for just an appetizer, two main dishes and two drinks. We were put off on how one of the servers offered for a refill for one of our drinks, which was a hot chocolate, yet didn’t mention that they would charge us for the refill. The receipt after we paid said it, but she herself did not say about charging us extra on a refill on hot chocolate. We’re honestly very upset with that since in the end we paid $7.20 for a cup of hot chocolate plus a refill. Overall, if you have the money and willing to pay more than $4 for a simple hot chocolate or any beverage, then go check this place out. The server also didn’t give us napkins or our cutlery the whole time we were there. We had to get it at another table. And service took awhile to be tended to, despite the lack of people that were there in the restaurant today, which was around 2 pm. A family even left because of how no one was tending to them. So service needs to...

Updated 2025: I’ve been back a few times since my initial review and have updated to 5 stars. Food is fantastic and service is still great. Highly recommend the breakfast burritos, monte cristo, and huevos rancheros. Pros: This no frills diner has great service & friendly staff! Loved the pancakes & waffles, coffee was hot & never empty. Scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. Good orange juice. Lots of options from omelette, eggs, pancakes, waffles , French toast , sandwiches etc. very reasonably priced for the area & portion sizes were large but not too large. Cons: eggs were undercooked (asked for over medium, and they were very runny undercooked). bacon was cooked unevenly barely cooked in places and very crispy in others. Ambience is very basic, no outdoor seating. Will definitely be back to give it another try!

We had such an amazing lunch today at JP’s today for a nice Easter meal. You are truly treated like royalty there. Not only was the service above and beyond but we got quite a few giggles too. The owner Maeg is full of laughs and snappy comebacks we laughed so much. She also very sweetly cut up my Dads prime rib. We all had the prime rib with eggs and potatoes. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!!! I usually add salt and dip my prime rib in ranch dressing NOT THIS TIME. We also had appetizers of a spiraled Breaded zucchini . I cannot believe how good that was. I love to go to a restaurant with delicious food, fresh made, and fantastic service. You can tell that they care about their customers and that you’re their first priority Thank you so much for giving us a nice Easter lunch.
