We are traveling and we looked the hours up online and on the door when we arrived. They stated that the dining room closes at 9pm. We got here at 8:20pm. There was another couple who was here before us. The doors were locked. The couple said they wouldn’t let them in and they had to go to the drive thru.
So we went through the drive thru and ordered 50.00 worth of food. I asked why the dining room was closed when it clearly states on the door it is open until 9pm.
She stated- we just got done being really busy so we closed the lobby early. Ummmmm- not acceptable?
Then we were told to go around to the backdoor to and wait and they would bring out food out. I said I would prefer to stay at the window (there was no one behind us) because I want to make sure our order is correct and we have everything we need.
I was told no and pull around. The girls was very rude. She should have I asked to park in front where it is well lit and brought it out to us instead of the back of...
Read moreReally disappointed in this LJS. Second time I went there to treat myself to a meal (I like their food a lot) only to find the lobby locked, this was in the middle of the afternoon and the second time it happened to me. Really not sure what the issue is, it's not like they were really busy, no drive through traffic and only a couple of cars in the parking lot. I could see people in the dining room, so not sure what gives with them. It would be very sad to see them close and go the way of Steak and Shake due to poor service. In reading some of the reviews, I was struck with the responses LJS management gave, it seems they use a template and change the names on their reply, don't even have the wherewithal to compose a sincere reply to those who offer an opinion on a customers experience. I hope that LJS can restore their image and be the LJS that I...

Once again, the lobby was closed in the middle of the afternoon with drive through service only. After driving 5 hours from Wisconsin, it would be nice to get out and stretch legs, use facilities rather than eating in my car (generally not allowed). Staff say that it is closed due to shortage of staff. In the 15 minutes that I ate lunch in the parking lot, no one else drove through. Certainly they have the manpower to wipe down an occasional, or I should say rare, table. Covid is over. There is no need to dissuade customers, consume costly plastic take-out containers and ultimately loose business.
They are also not unusually out of items...
