Updated review: Shavonda our hostess and server was the best. Very attentive while working the room. Our food came out quickly and was good. The rock fish with mashed potatoes was a hit. The chicken and shrimp fettuccine was good and was flavorful with the blackened protein. The creme Brule was the surprise star as it was set up perfectly and was quite the portion. All in all, a very good lunch. 1st review: Restaurant that can hold large groups. We had our class reunion meal here a few years ago and had a special menu for the group with pastas, chicken meals, etc. It was a fantastic alternative to other expensive venues and all had a good time.

The food was awful. The photos are the prime rib, requested med rare. AND this was after both of us sending our first plates back already as it was beyond well done and tough. Second time (in photos) wasn't as tough but it wasn't tender either. Plating was sloppy, literally like it was slopped onto a plate school cafeteria style, and not wiped before leaving the kitchen. Someone came to the table but was defending the plate (even asked if I had ever made prime rib 😳 Yup, several times thanks) and made no effort to make it right. This was, quite simply, not worth the $16 price.

My husband and I went to Rania's Restaurant in July and it was wonderful! The atmosphere alone was fantastic and our waiter was very nice and very fast! We loved everything from the moment we walked in! The service, food and entertainment were great! We started with the Egyptian Bread, my husband had the chicken curry and I had eggplant parmasean, the sangria was very nice too! We're going back for his birthday dinner! See you soon Rania's! 😊

3 of us went and the only thing good was the frozen bread they brought out. I don’t know what they people who are rating it higher has to eat, but we didn’t get it. Our appetizer was the blue cheese guacamole with chips. I’ll be honest, the dip wasn’t terrible but the chips were swimming in oil and soggy. I was expecting guacamole with blue cheese chunks. It was guac with blue cheese dressing stirred in. Not exactly gourmet but would have expected better for the price. Two of us had ā€œGreekā€ salad which ended up just being a regular salad with canned sliced black olives and this weird mustard sauce.

I had the coconut curry chicken with rice and vegetables. Vegetables was one piece of broccoli and a tbsp of carrot shreds. Not only was the rice over cooked but it was also turning sour. The chicken was so dry it was almost dusty. The sauce had barely a hint of coconut and was loaded with a mix of herbs that somehow overwhelmed the curry.

One of us had the lobster ravioli. It was served in a very bland white sauce. The ravioli filling was pretty good but the dough part of the ravioli was not cooked. Just think of this lobster filling wrapped in wet dough with warm milk on top…

The third in our party had the seafood fiesta. The scallops and pasta were the only things that might have been fresh and not microwaved. Even the sauce had that refrigerator taste. The muscles and shrimp had obviously been microwaved either far far too long or too many times as they were like hard pieces of rubber.

The waiter was friendly and cheerful, which was nice. But he messed up the drink orders twice. Then this other lady came over and snatched the menus out of our hands before we even finished ordering. The tables are old and worn out. Very wobbly and the plastic coated table clothes they stabled to them are in dire need of replacement. The booth we got was well worn, had no cushion left, and tore in a few places. The carpets are well worn, stained, and tore in several places.

I honestly cannot believe this is the same highly rated restaurant with great atmosphere everyone seems to...

I went here with my prom group. We got there earlier than our reservation, and they seated us. We got our drinks after a short while, but it wasn't in an unreasonable time. Then, we got some breadsticks, which were pretty good. However, they did not last us the roughly two hours we had to wait before we received our food. It was our waitress's first day apparently. Finally, a person who I think was the owner had to come out and retake our orders. My friends, who ordered a four-course meal, got three of their courses at the same time, and the group appetizer arrived with the rest of the food. In fact, the woman I thought was the owner informed us that the four course meal was not available except on certain days, but because we had such a long wait, she allowed them to buy it. For the slow service we did not get a discount. Actually, the bills were mixed up, so we're not really sure if we got a discount or overpaid because no one seemed to be able to total up how much we owed. There were four of us and at the beginning we said who was with whom, but all of the tickets were separate. Somehow, my friend ended up with my ticket and the guy I went with got only his ticket, and we thought that was it and paid. Then, they came back and explained, but there was some sort of confusion with how much was given before hand. However, the salad and creme brule I got were both pretty good. Also, the pianist...

I am livid. My sons just went there to eat and were treated like GARBAGE by the waitress. My son was so stoked to take his brother out today for his birthday using money he worked hard to earn from his first job. Well, they walk in and immediately are looked at with scorn, as they were dressed casually. If there is some kind of dress code, it should be clearly stated. Some other patrons who came in wearing suits were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm.

My children were treated with overt disdain by their waitress, who seemed DISGUSTED when my oldest son (19) told her that another business owner had recommended the place. She says "They referred YOU here?" And scoffed. Then she proceeded to ignore them instead of providing service. Then when they finally received their food, the portions were tiny, the food was almost flavorless, and the tenders my younger son ordered were overcooked.

The fact (apparently) that providing a tip is forced onto customers is outrageous, especially considering the horrible treatment by waitstaff. After reading other reviews, it seems obvious that they only wish to cater to the wealthier citizens here. Our money is just as good as theirs, and the waitress and other rude staff should be ASHAMED.

If I could give this pretensious establishment 0...
