Arlon's Carry Out — Restaurant in Maryland

Placed an order for delivery at 8:15pm, by 10pm I still hadn't received my food. I called the store to inquire as to why I hadn't received my food, and I was told to be patient. Now I have worked for a fast food carry out establishment before, so I know first hand how hectic it can get. But almost a two hour wait is unacceptable. I paid with my bank card over the phone, so I requested a refund, that's when it all hit the fan. I was getting nowhere with this person so I went to the store to speak to the owner, because she refused to put him on the phone. When I got there, I told them who I was, and asked for my money again. The manager stood there while his ignorant employee fussed and cussed, as if I was the problem because I wanted my money back. Mind you, they had no clue to the whereabouts of there driver, and why I hadn't received my food. But I was the problem, okay?!? So naturally, I was very pissed and beyond annoyed and frustrated. I had spent almost $60 and had nothing to show for it. During this argument, the cashier decides to let quite a few racial slurs and negative stereotypes surrounding african americans roll off her tongue. Then threaten to call the police on me when I responded. While trying to defuse the situation, the manager asked me to not say anything so she would stop talking. Wait, What?!? So I'm the problem, okay! After going around in circles for what seemed like forever, I was refunded my money. Needless to say I will never order...

This is my favorite Indian place now in the Pikesville area. I've ordered from here multiple times and everything from their Indian food section of the menu at least is absolutely delicious (they also have pizza and Italian type food but I haven't tried that). Their veggie Samosa Chaat is amazing, all their chicken dishes are cooked just right, and the chicken is always super tender. I order it at the "hot" spice level (they ask how spicy you want it) and I'd say it's about jalapeno level of hot, for me just the right amount of kick without dominating the dish. I'm pretty sure they can do it true "Indian hot" if you want too, and they also have mild level which I couldn't feel, but my wife loved. Great food.
