If I could give zero stars I would... Adding this to my blacklist of shameless LCS that would rather make a quick buck than treat the local players and customers with respect during this crazy time. Was told all week they'd have a limited amount of PE at MSRP for the new release just to waste my time and find out they are charging 3x+ on products on the RELEASE DAY... They know what they're doing and this tactic will only hurt more than it can possibly help. The employee chuckled and said "I'd never say that" when i brought up their shady business practice and that they lied and wasted my time. I had already picked out hundreds of dollars of singles on their website that i planned to purchase on this trip to the store. Although I was sad to be deceived by Game Haven and to walk out empty handed... I INSTANTLY found another 2 ETB's, and a sticker pack at other local card shops and at a target all at a 3rd of the price of this sleazy establishment. All of this on my ride home, wish I would have started my day on that note instead of wasting time here.
Make these scalpers eat their boxes. I guarantee you too, will find more of them at the prices they are meant to be sold at with a little patience. I already have and I didn't need to wait for the reprint. I learned a valuable lesson yesterday and I am so glad I didn't spend my money here. If it wasn't for this awful experience I wouldn't have found a new LCS to call home yesterday so for that I am grateful. I will happily spend thousands of dollars at their store knowing I am actively keeping this hobby alive and that they won't leave me high and dry the second there is an opportunity to make a quick buck on a new set. Honesty and integrity go infinitely further than a quick payday at the expense of loyal and potentially new customers. Yeah btw... I brought you new customers yesterday (that each spend thousands on pokemon a month) that will also never step foot in Game...
Read moreI came in here looking for Pokemon cards and was able to pick up a few that I didn't have. Their prices are generally a little bit more expensive than some other places with the prices usually being the price is found online. The price of cards are usually a little bit under but this is what you should expect to pay.
I felt it was a little bit unusual when looking for cards they asked me to create a purchase order online. But luckily I didn't have to pay right away and I could still look at the cards as needed.
After making the purchase order the employee or owner went out of their way and pulled out a few more cards I was looking for that had not been sorted and he priced them right away and I was able to purchase them.
Overall I would recommend this store even though it is a little bit unusual the way that you look through the cards but I also think it does make sense and overall did not inconvenience my shopping experience...
Read moreI happen to be in the area and wanted to stop in and see how this place was. Not only was I greeted kindness, I was treated like a local and a regular from minute one by not only the staff but also the people playing as well. One staff member whose name escapes me at the time of writing spent several minutes not only helping me build a deck but also giving me some other suggestions to run with and I thank them very much for that. After that I took time to looked through the rest of the store and went towards the gaming area. It about 5 seconds when I was asked to join a pod of Commander players. To which I'm eternally grateful for those who asked me to join. I had an amazing time and I wish I lived closer so I can play there more regularly. And I wish I'd wrote in this sooner so I can remember the names of those that played and of the staff member. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be...
