Bruno's Pizza — Restaurant in Maryland

We used to go to Italian Gardens in Kenilworth as a family because we all loved the pizza and they had decent salads. Then the pizza started going down hill and we gave it 2 more chances and finally gave up. I have been craving a good italian cold cut for a few days. So I went on google to see what my options are. I saw IG express and figured I'd give it a try.

pretty disappointed. The bread is not homemade...but ok...you can still have a good ICC with decent roll but the roll was stale. Strike one. Hots...they put pepperoncini peppers on there. Well, ok...but most italian places put pickled pepper spread. The meat? Sad. Looks like they have premade meat and cheese kits that they just slap on there. The cheese on the edges was old and dried out. The homemade "chips" - half of them were RAW! not cooked at all. Raw potatoes don't taste great.

You want to put "Italian" in your name - you better be able to make a good Italian Cold cut.

This was my first time ordering from Bruno’s and I must say I enjoyed everything. I was a bit skeptical ordering through the “Local by Toast” app, but the process was very easy and somewhat user friendly. I was not able to order just a pepperoni & sausage, because the ordering app does not have a build your own pizza option (at least one that I could find). But I was fine with that because it took me out of my comfort zone to order a specialty pizza (which is something I never do). “The Works” was really delicious. Toppings were all over the place, but I think that is what made it hit different. Honey old bay wings were crispy like I prefer them… could’ve used a bit more sauce, but next time I’ll have to request additional. Cheesesteak was huge, definitely enough for 2 ppl to share. Steak was seasoned and cheesy like it should be. Definitely recommend Bruno’s Pizza. Follow more reviews @IG: Robthefoodguy...

We have ordered food from Bruno’s for a few years. The food was always really good. We discovered that we could get delivery on Grubhub so we started using that. Things have gone down hill lately. Bruno’s always takes longer to get the food to the driver so it’s always much later than we were told. Once we got BBQ chicken pizza. After chocking on a chicken bone I called them to let them know. Was just told she would make sure the chef knows to look harder for bones. Tonight we ordered food because we are locked down with my entire family having Covid. Items for our order were missing. When I called I was just told “oh yeah, we messed up, you will be credited “ and then she hung up. So now what?!?! Not like I can just run out and get food. They need to get their act together in that place. The food is good there are just issues with their system...
