Places like this really annoy me. They have "real ice cream" in their name, they charge high prices leading people to think they use the best natural ingredients and they claim to make the ice cream from scratch every day. They might make it everyday, in a lab somewhere.

This is the ingredients for Brusters vanilla icecream. Ingredients: MILK, CREAM, SUGAR, CORN SYRUP, NONFAT MILK SOLIDS, SWEET WHEY, MONO & DIGLYCERIDES, GUAR GUM, LOCUST BEAN GUM, POLYSORBATE 80, CARRAGEENAN, VANILLA, VANILLIN, NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, CARAMEL COLOR.

This is the ingredients for Breyers vanilla ice cream. INGREDIENTS: MILK, CREAM, SUGAR, VEGETABLE GUM (TARA), NATURAL FLAVOR.

Now you tell me which one is "real ice cream".

If you still decide to go there have fun overpaying for chemical filled ice cream. The ingredients in their ice cream are worse than McDonald's, don't believe me than go check yourself.

i visit family in the area every 3 months or so, and i always enjoy going to bruster's. the flavors change frequently, so you should go on their website and see what is offered before you go. i tried last night to place online order and i guess something was wrong with the system or something.. it wouldn't let me order for immeidate pickup-said i had to pickup the next afternoon? tried several times to change the date/time, website wouldn't allow me to. ended up just going down there and ordering, and found out that they were out a flavor that my family wanted, no worries they didn't mind another flavor that i picked out. it's just a little odd to me that they would run out of certain flavors. not sure how they anticipate demand and so forth. great service though. workers are always friendly and have the orders out quickly. i...

Friday evening, I made an online order on my way home for myself and my 1 year old grandson. I was about ½ mile away when I received the call that my order was ready. After parking at the front of the store, I walked up to the window that stated online order pickup and there I stood. I was never acknowledged. The 3 employees had taken orders from both windows and then kept their backs turned to the customers. I waited about 10 minutes. Still not acknowledged.
