The story behind my life and this Burger King goes back a long long time. I've worked there a few times-----I stopped working there many years ago but I always go there for nostalgia or whatever.
Last night I dropped a 50 dollar bill, and it was the only money I had made in about a month. I woke up this morning and couldn't find it, it wasn't really the amount or anything, but it tore me apart. I needed it for food and basic things.
So I ride up to burger king on the verge of tears and ask the guy who took my order if someone happened to find any money that was dropped----
Hes like, all concerned, how much? I tell him--- he goes hold on its in the safe buddy----
then I break into tears in front of the whole restaurant and give him this ridiculous hug and im like thank you man and im apologizing to him, and hes like its okay buddy and he hands it to me. And I look around at a place I've been to a thousand times------
This restaurant is a great place to eat. They try. If you want good food, tell them you want it made fresh. They will do it.
5 Stars. You earned it Burger King...
Read moreThis Burger King is unusual because it shares a building with a BP gas station and from the dining area, there is a door going right into the gas station's convenience store. The dining area has an odd corner that looks like part of the kitchen or service area but is now unused and the real service area is to the left of that. Oddities aside, this is a fairly standard Burger King restaurant with up-to-date decor in the dining area. Service was fine. They got off to a slow start but once the manager chipped in with a key piece of info, they went right to work and got our orders ready in a decent amount of time. Food preparation was somewhat inconsistent, however. One of our chicken sandwiches had very little lettuce and mayo. Also, when I went to use the restroom, the toilet flusher didn't work, which points to a lapse in maintenance. All in all, it's a mixed bag of a visit but this location seems good enough for a...
Read moreWhile traveling we stopped here at 9:25 p.m. The lobby closes at 10:00 p.m. There was a young man mopping the floors at the door near the gas station. When attempting to enter we discovered the doors where locked and the lobby was closed. So we proceeded to the drive through, and asked the gentleman on the intercom, if we could use coupons, because we had several separate orders. He said, with an attitude 1 coupon per car!!! I said to him, we did not know you were going to close your lobby 35 minutes early, if your lobby was still open, everyone could have placed their individual order and paid for them. He then rudely stated it does not matter if the lobby is closed, blah, blah, blah!!! So at this point, I do not even want them to make food for me!!! Went across the street to McDonalds, which, might I add their lobby stays open until midnight and the people...
