Riverside Pizzeria — Restaurant in Maryland

This place needs a serious remodel. They put new menu tv screens in but that’s it. The inside is old and very out dated.

I told the cashier that was behind the counter that the rice pudding looked old and watery. I did not purchase it because of this. The cashier did nothing about it. She didn’t check the ones in the cooler. There is no date on the rice puddings so how would they no how old or how new they were.

This place has gone down hill big time. The employees are not very friendly. The heavyset white female different colored hair each week. cashier/manager is the worst. She doesn’t greet anyone and always has an attitude.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

I spoke to the owner and wow he has more excuses than I have ever heard. Tells me that the store can’t be remodeled because he has had multiple neck surgeries. What does that have to do with your business? Tells me he needs more workers. They are plenty of people who need jobs. Tells me something was done with the rice pudding when I know that is not true. No dates on their product so how do they or a customer know how old the product is. He tells me he won’t do anything with the multi colored hair girl because he has known her since she was two years old. He didn’t even offer me anything or to even come back. I have been a customer since riverside store opened.

I am completely done with this place. Good luck...

Wow ordered to go last night online went into the store asked for my food mind you it was late i think I was the only customer in the store all staff was standing behind the counter doing nothing the girl asked my name for my order even opened my bag I thought she was accounting for what I ordered to make sure it was all in the bag got home and they forgot my rice pudding no problem so I called and asked for a refund for the rice pudding that I didn’t receive the woman on the phone told me oh people just grab it out of the desert case but I will still give you a refund though..made it seem like it was my fault she didn’t put my desert in my bag that I ordered and already paid for lol I have never been here and haven’t ordered Togo before I wouldn’t have known that l was supposed to reach into a desert case and take the rice pudding..lol anyway I went to eat my dinner the crab cake was runny in the middle , no flavor garlic bread was awful more like a rubbery pice of bread I had to throw the whole dinner away other than the coleslaw 31.00 for a dinner that wasn’t edible rude customer service things are too expensive now adays and when you want to splurge on yourself every now and then you don’t want to pay for rude customer service and nastyfood and that’s what I received here for my...

Sadly , this used to be a great place to have Pizza or a monster Cheesesteak Sub. It no longer exists . The Pizza is full of grease and oil from the cheap cheese they now use . As for the Cheesesteaks , they have decreased in size and flavor.

The waitress who was taking care of the sitting customers was so busy on her cell phone that she actually pursuaded us to order and sit on the carry out section instead of seating us . Pathetic.

When we finally got to order , the lady behind the counter was so busy talking that she screwed up a simple order that had to be remade. I ordered a cheesesteak with everything , extra hots and extra onions . What I recieved was a measly steak sandwich with only hots and no extra fried onions .

Now all the loyal customers won't be effected by this review because sadly folks become blind in repetitive support . This review is for those of you thinkingabout giving it a try . Don't waste your money or your time. Find another place to get your cheesesteak . And don't expect decent service because cell phones are more important than customers . And if you do order , it may be a great idea to let the counterperson finish her blabbering before you order and be sure to have her repeat it back because as sure as the sun will rise she will mess...
