Burger King — Restaurant in Maryland

Rating by burgeoning standards, it's still a one. I enjoy fast food and don't berate it just based on what it is; But this burger king is horrible.

I worked on ft Meade for a long time and liked to get out at lunch and that meant few options. Downtown has bad choices and service in general. Not a lot of choice and no good ones . So I ended up at burger king quite frequently.

If you walk into this place at 1030 you'll see stacks and stacks of burgers and sandwiches already made. They pre-make dozens. Too many and way too early. As they make more, they go on top. So if you come in at noon, your sandwich has potentially been sitting for 1.5 to 2 hours and is disgusting. It's either slop or hard as a rock. It's inexcusable. Unsafe, not congruent with burger king policy . It's been like this for years. Came in today for the first time in a year or so and the same thing is happening. Big stack of sandwiches sitting there. Thing that makes it worse; we "locals" know this. We order our sandwiches to order. "No ketchup" will get you a fresh sandwich. "Tomato on the side". Anything. But it means, you, the unsuspecting visitor has no clue that the whopper you ordered is just sitting there rotting.

The service has gotten better. A lot of the old ladies that used to get all snarly with you when they messed up are gone. Typical language barriers you find on military base burger kings. Dining room is decently clean and decently in good repair.

Just sucks for so many people that are visiting / working on base and can't easily get on and off...

Last week my 79 year old mother was told that she was BANNED from ordering food and was REFUSED service at this location. She received the WRONG food while ordering through the drive thru (she had a coupon). When she brought this to their attention, the manager "Delores" became frustrated and told her that she would have to cancel and restart the order ( as if she wanted my mom to just take whatever food they decided to give her). Mom insisted that she wanted the food she ACTUALLY ordered. Well yesterday, my mom returned to Burger King to purchase some food and they told her she was BANNED from the restaurant. My mother never threatened anyone, caused a disorder, nor disrupted their place of business. She simply requested her order to be correct. As my adult niece followed up with the employees yesterday, they have NO legitimate answers as to why they refused service to an elderly woman, other than, ""She asked for fresh food and she had an attitude. There is currently NO manager on duty and Ms. Delores is nowhere to be found. I want answers NOW. The McKinzy family has been a staple of Ft Meade, Florida for over 100 years and this WILL NOT STAND! So what did yall do, have a mugshot of my Mom somewhere hanging up? Yall need to direct that much diligence and attention to customer...

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE !! I ordered chicken rings meal with 2 Large frappas with NO WHIP CREAM (i got them melted and with WHIP cream I also got chicken fries instead of chicken rings which btw were hard and cold and the fries were hard and received them half,empty) I also ordered the 10 piece nuggets and extra fries ( which I did not recieve) along with a drink I ordered a,sweet tea for my young children and got soda!! Then also ordered a salad and had hair in it. Along with other items. The moral of my story is everything we ordered was NASTY, COLD AND ALL WRONG. THE SAD PART IS IM,ON A ROAD TRIP AND DIDNT REALIZE ALL THE,MISTAKES TILL ON THE HIGHWAY. don't get me wrong I normally check my food ORDER BEFORE I LEAVE OUT BUT the 1 time I don't this happens. I'm disgusted. A waste of money and had to stop,somewhere else. So obviously the young generation kids that were taking my order just didn't pay attention nor care. So why work in a place of you gong to treat people this way and the food that they put into...
