Cactus Silvestre — Restaurant in Maryland

If I could give this 0 stars I would have. I work down the street from this place and have been ordering consistently for lunch for over a year now. Their tacos are the only thing I can vouch for and they are really good. However, the lady at the front counter who also answers the phones is rude as it gets. She has always been pretty rude on the phone and when I go in to pick up my food there is no friendly voice whatsoever coming from her. She barely even looks at you. Today just topped it off. I called to place my lunch order, and a minute later called back to cancel it because I realized I could not come to leave to come pick it up, and they randomly stopped delivering down the street to my work. When I called and told her all she did was hang up. So i called back to make sure she heard me because I would have hated for them to make the food and have it go to waste when no one came to pick it up or pay for it. When I called back and asked her if she heard me this was her response "Yes I heard you, you cancelled your order ok I'm busy I don't have time for these games". Mind you I have NEVER had to cancel my order in all the times i've ordered and this was only a minute after I placed it, so they had not started making it yet. I am absolutely appalled by this customer service and cannot believe she is working there as I'm sure I am not the only person that has been treated this way by her. I will never go back to this place ever again, no matter how much I love their tacos. Please save yourself the time of having to deal...

What a let down !! To say that I was disappointed by this place is an understatement but I’m giving it two stars for a reason. the customer service was great , when I received my order I was so excited to try what I was hoping would be some great food. I ordered some soft and hard tacos (for the kiddos) a chicken and shrimp quesadilla and birria. The kids loved the tacos but that’s hard to screw up , the shrimp and chicken quesadilla was delicious and then came the birria… I tried birria for the first time two weeks ago out in a restaurant in the Aberdeen/Belcamp area place called plaza mexico , the birria there was delicious the consommé was otherworldly best depth of flavor I’ve ever tasted. But the BIRRIA I just ate from Sylvester’s has to be the worst !!! The tacos barely had any cheese in them and the consommé omg what even was that. It was a greasy , oily, flavor container of nothing. When I dipped the taco in and took a bite I audibly sighed I instantly wished I could get a refund just for the damn birria . Did you guys even try to add salt ? Maybe a little Sazon ? Because I literally could have dipped those tacos in water and gotten the same effect.

If I could rate this place less I would. I literally just ordered from here about an hour or so ago. I work at night and my coworkers and I ordered a small amount of food. We looked online for the menu and the paper menu prices were different from the prices online and this is why we paid more so ok whatever. But the woman I spoke with was so rude it was crazy but we still ordered from this place because the food looked good online. However, I'm still stuck trying to figure out why our order was 50$. But we still paid the amount because the woman we spoke to said the prices has increased and the online menu was inaccurate. But, the food came within ten minutes and the food was freezing cold. I ordered two tacos and the loaded nachos ( chicken nachos). The cheese was melted and cold, the meat was freezer cold. The food felt like it was in the freezer, not even the refrigerator the freezer!!! I'm so upset I tried to take the food back and they were closed. As soon as I received the food and called they were close. I'm so disgusted with this place I would NOT recommend anyone to try the food...
