Capriotti's Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Maryland

I had been seeing the ads for the BLT sandwich promotion and decided to purchase the sandwich. The only BLT that was super amazing and never has been beaten was made by Blimpie’s sandwich in Hoboken, NJ. They served you 1 lb of delicious bacon with all the trimmings. Cooked perfectly brown. I pirchased my sandwich to go and did not find out what I was in store for until I reached my destination. The sandwich I was served here was not in it’s class at all. The width of the hero was more like the size of a French Baguette. The bacon content was not brown at all, but looked more like it needed 5-10 minutes more in the oven. Sigh. Unimpressed. The pictures that are on the promotions are a lie. I really wish food can be served like the advertisement instead of mediocre. Very dissappointed with the BLT. I couldn’t bring myself to even take a picture bc I was already upset with the display since my mind was focused on the ad, as well as my memory of the Blimpie’s BLT. You need to do better. Make it the way the ad is, or do not make it at all. By the way, the staff was super friendly. I just wish it didn’t feel like a Subway’s when they count out the portions they put i your sandwich. Today was 1st time I'm eating there ,I ordered Small medium cheese steak Is fry and soda $16 + The guy that took my order didn't ask me what kind of cheese I wanted , whenI asked him and he said come with American . Ok what ever . He didn't have a change for a $20 bill so I had to wait additional 2 minutes while the manager was doing something.. Finally get in my food , there was barely any meat on the whole thing. all bread . After looking at a couple of other people's sub I thought something was wrong with mine. I ate half of it and then after contemplating, I flagged over a guy with glasses and a beard . To me it looks like he was training and overseeing the new operation. I asked him if my other half of my sandwich was right. He explained to me that they gave me a larger sub roll which made it look smaller. I explained to him no I got the small medium . He explains to me you'll give me a partial refund , I sat there 5 minutes never came back and i left mad . I should have took a picture of it $16 plus it was all bread. Way to go and welcome to the neighborhood. This is a serious hard pass at this place . great...

The food here is so good! I've gotten subs from here multiple times but today I got a turkey caesar salad. They pack their sons with stuff so you don't feel like you're getting ripped off and the price point is pretty average so you're not breaking the bank. The staff is always nice when I go inside but I always order online so my stuff is ready to go when I get there. The salads are pretty big and they taste great, definitely worth your money. Place for lunch or dinner and I'm going to go back many times.

UPDATE: Went back in order food again today, this time I got a barbecue turkey salad and it was awesome. Awesome. They did not go light on the meat and it was hefty, I would definitely order it again and I plan to. A picture of the salad will be provided.

UPDATE: today my work and I got Capriotti's . This time I got the capistrami sub and it was delicious. It is a sub with pastrami and coleslaw with some cheese and it was so good, it was moist and flavorful and I wish I got the 18 in. They got everyone's order correct and everyone liked what they got.
