After having a couple of reasonable visits to the Crofton Checker's Drive-through restaurant, I had some very bad experiences. One burger I bought, the Mozarella Mushroom Burger, was so salty that it was inedible. It was accompanied by an order of french fries that were contaminated with pubic hair. I almost wonder if serving this lousy food was intentional.
I called to complain to the franchise office, and the local owner called me back to "get this taken care of", as he said on his message, leaving his home number. I called that number several times and left messages, and I never heard from the owner again. Ever. Not a peep.
After a couple of weeks of trying, I gave up. I never even obtained an apology. Nothing.
To make matters worse, when I have picked up abandoned change in the parking lot of this fast food restaurant (this parking lot is leased from another company that is out-of-state), the restaurant staff accused me of "stealing" from them, and threatened me. This has happened a couple of times, creating an even worse impression.
I checked with the police, who agreed that I had done nothing wrong. The next time this happens I will call the police and/or suggest that we settle this issue in court. I would be glad to see the owner try to justify a lawsuit in front of a judge for 15 cents found on land he does not own. My message to you, the owner is: "Try me. Let's meet in court and see how it goes. I already know the police are on my side."
I guess the owner does not give a &^%$ about his customers, or the level of service or quality of products provided. I would not suggest anyone frequent this establishment, no matter how convenient the location might appear to be. There is no excuse for general abuse of your customers. I will spend my money someplace where they actually give a damn about the public.
I also am shocked that this owner even is permitted to be a franchiser holder. I am half-considering posting YouTube videos featuring the obnoxious behavior of the Crofton Checker's staff, and starting a campaign to get this owner's franchise taken...
Read moreI had a very upsetting experience at this location. I was ignored for 20 minutes by a staff member who made eye contact with me multiple times and still chose not to acknowledge me. During that time, I could also hear her muttering curse words under her breath about me. She even looked at me when she had said a curse word. Mind you I was there before any cars were there and I have worked in fast food places so I am very patient but she acted like I wasn’t there and continued to say disgusting things.
When she finally opened the service window, I politely asked why I was being ignored and why she was cursing. She then said that she didn’t and had attitude towards me while being even more aggressive at this point . I then asked for the corporate number. She responded by saying she didn’t know it, and then slammed the window in my face.
No customer should ever be treated this way. This behavior is completely unacceptable, and I hope management takes immediate action...
Read moreI am giving a 2 star just because in the passed I had good experiences, but in the last few months it has gone down hill. Between nasty attitudes while ordering and food not even being done right. Tonight was the icing on the cake. My husband has never been here since we moved as I am normally grabbing food from here on the way home from work if we are eating out, he went to order a kids meal, he was greeted by a attitude and huffing and puffing because they don't carry kids meal. I get it, it must happen a lot that people don't know but no need for an attitude. When he was still polite, the woman taking the order sounded like we were annoying her, then we pulled up to get our food, She didn't say a word to us handed us our drinks shut the door came back a few moments later Hannah has some food and slammed the window.
