This restaurant was so well managed I had to tell the manager how impressed I was last Sunday, 17 Sept 2018. He helped his staff serve food, seat customers coming in, and not a word seemed to be exchanged?! It’s like they exchanged glances and moved quickly and efficiently? The restaurant was so slammed but there was a calm efficiency all around us; they all worked together helping one another to clear plates from tables with a positive and courteous attitude. It was amazing to watch? Our waiter was very pleasant in taking our order and he was very helpful in ensuring all our needs were met. He worked w a spirit of excellence and worked w that calm efficiency all around us that I couldn’t help but be impressed and amazed by it all. He never got an attitude or appeared to be irritated by the requests for extra napkins or refill? He was a gentle giant and very gracious. Our food was served hot, well prepared and delicious! Not one plate was cold or burnt or all together wrong? We have a large family but they took care of us like we were the only customers in the restaurant. I credit the Manager for that smooth calm efficiency because he exhibited that same calm efficiency and went above and beyond to ensure CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! He set the pattern around us w a spirit of excellence and his staff followed his demeanor without question. No one argued or hollerrd at one another despite the busy restaurant? They just all worked together as a team to satisfy customers and turn tables! It was amazing to watch n more amazing to experience!! God bless each of them that made up the staff and God bless that business!! I felt blessed to be a part of that incredible experience?! We will be back!! Thank you for a very positive and fulfilling experience!!! It makes me smile to remember that day. I have never experienced anything like that at such a busy and...
Read moreI recently visited this IHOP location with a party of four and had one of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve ever encountered. Upon arrival, we waited to be seated. A young male staff member came over, briefly looked around for a table, then pointed to a booth and casually said, “Come sit here.” We followed his instruction and sat down. After waiting for 15 minutes with no menus, no water, and no acknowledgment from any server, a female staff member finally approached us. She asked if anyone had taken care of us or given us menus, and we said no. We pointed out the young man who directed us to sit, but she returned moments later and claimed he said he never sat us despite the fact that he had clearly done so and was now standing idly in the corner, wearing earphones and on his phone. Instead of taking accountability, we were told we shouldn’t have seated ourselves. At that point, we decided to leave, feeling deeply disappointed and disrespected by the lack of professionalism and service. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and it speaks volumes about the management and training at this location. We came to enjoy a meal but left feeling ignored and unwelcome. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to prevent other customers from...
Read moreFirst time visiting an IHOP in 13 years, my last experiences left a sour taste in my mouth and bad memories all around. My experience tonight has renewed my excitement for IHOP again! My server tonight was a polite and handsome gentleman named Jordan. For being so young, I was pleasantly surprised by his professionalism, his intelligence, and his enthusiasm for service. He should be the gold standard for all your employees. He provided excellent suggestions without missing a beat, appearing to be intimately passionate about the menu and IHOP itself. He answered all questions, always knew when we needed refills without anyone having to ask, and was so pleasant to my kids! My kids asked if we could get him again when we come back, because he's "so cool", and my kids don't think ANYONE is cool.
Thank you IHOP, for employing such a FINE young man, and giving us the best experience ever! Have you considered him for management? He should at least be a trainer, pass along his excellent service skills!
Sincerely, ~One...
