Google rejected my November 2024 edit but they close at 5:30pm on Saturdays. The owner told me. There isn't a sign that I saw but they close at 5:30pm on Saturdays. This makes sense from some other reviews where they didn't want seated customers so close to closing. FYI!
THANKSGIVING HOURS 2024 (spoke with owner 11/19/24) (Assume it's closing 5pm Wed 11/27 like last year but not sure) Closed Thu, Fri 11/28-11/29 Resume normal hours Open Sat 11/30, Closed Sun 12/1 as usual
(Haven't updated review recently but the veggie pancake is amazing. I almost don't want to tell you that haha. Will grab a pic the next time I'm there.)
THANKSGIVING HOURS 2023 (spoke with owner 11/22) Closing 5pm Wed 11/22 Closed Thu, Fri 11/23-11/24 Resume normal hours Open Sat 11/25, Closed Sun as usual
I wish Google allowed users to submit holiday hours!!!
Love supporting small businesses! 🥰 Especially if they are delicious! May be family owned but will check next time. Food was fresh and tasty. Fast and friendly service. Been seeing these ratings on reviews but will put here in case I'm not prompted: Food 5, Service 5, Atmosphere 5 (1 to 5, 5 is highest). 🥇 I prefer a scale of 10 but oh well haha. 🤣
(12/29 edit: Please consider paying cash because credit card fees are terrible for small businesses! Also consider tipping. The economy is terrible. I do not know these people but once I move back this way next year I will visit all the time.)
Detailed review: Visiting my family from Texas over the holidays and came here with my parents. Used to hang out in Bel Air and Edgewood as a teen. For the locals, this is on the north side of Pulaski Highway in the Domino's 🍕 shopping center, behind Jiffy Lube 🚗 (near IHOP). Everyone else use Google Maps haha. Lots of parking in the parking lot. Restrooms for customers only.
Inside nicely decorated with Hangeul (Korean language) wallpaper and some art. Plants. Tables have napkins, wooden chopsticks 🥢, spoons, forks, and knives. See pictures.
Walk to the counter to order. 3 people working when we visited. Menu on the wall with current prices 💰 (see picture). 12/27/22
We ordered kimchi pancake, bibimbap with tofu in the stone bowl, japchae, and small beef bulgogi. See pictures.
Kimchi pancake is a savory pancake, not this 🥞🤣. Crispy and served with a soy dipping sauce. We ate the entire thing! Delicious! 😋 Served as 4 pieces but can easily can cut into 8 with the table knife. Definitely will try the seafood one next time.
Bibimbap with tofu comes with a spicy gochujang sauce (optional, my dad didn't use it). The radish is a little spicy as an FYI. Mix the veggies and rice together. Highly recommend getting the stone bowl. It is hot (careful! 🔥) and lets the veggies and rice sizzle while you eat. If you want to be authentic, eat bibimbap with a spoon! 🥄 🇰🇷
Japchae is a soy and sesame stir fried sweet potato noodle 🍠 with veggies. We added tofu but this is typically served with beef. Came with rice and a small banchan (side dish) of spicy cucumber🥒, kimchi, and radish. Served with small side dish set. Tasty. I like a little more sesame oil flavor but this was very good.
Lastly ordered a small beef 🐄 bulgogi. Beef marinated in a sweet soy sauce (similar but not exactly teriyaki) and stir fried with onion. Served with rice and the small side dish set. Really good flavor and a good portion.
All beverages 🥤appeared to be bottled and no fountain drinks. Small ice cream 🍨 freezer with a couple choices.
Food was fresh and cooked well. Inside restaurant was clean. I did not visit the restroom to assess.
Hope you enjoy the pictures and can't wait to...

I've visited this restaurant on two occasions. The first time I came it was after 5pm. My family and I were told we could not dine in (which was fine) since they were closing at 6pm. We ordered and took the food home and it was delicious in addition to the customer service. The individuals working were very kind and polite.
The second time we visited this restaurant at the same time, but we were turned away. They told us they were closing at 6pm and weren't taking anymore orders. We were there at 5:15pm at the latest and expected the same service we received the last time. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. To their credit, they did turn away all customers after us. We were forced to go to another Korean restaurant about 10 minutes away. That restaurant made our food in less than 20 minutes (family of four).
The reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because the food was delicious our first time there. Also, even though my family and I do not plan to return, the customer service during our first experience was good. I just wouldn't recommend that anyone goes...
Read moreWe have been looking forward in going to this restaurant for weeks now, but we did go to a disappointment on a few things that should matter to a consumer. The first thing we were disappointment was the food quantity for the price, even after ordering the large pork Bulgogi, the quantity of the meal and kimchi was of a small portion. The Ramen noodle soup is no where from being priced at the one posted in their menu. I have been to Korea for a year in 2001 and 2011, at no time any restaurant told me that the kimchi was just a sample and if I wanted more, we had to purchase extra. In a authentic restaurant is part of almost every meal and when need more you get more. Also, I have been to plenty of Korean restaurants in Georgia, Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland, and some other places while traveling; I never had to purchase extra kimchi at any of those restaurants. So, we will not be going back to this restaurant for the lack of authentic experience offered there. The food was good, but not the best we had in over 11 years of eating korean food regularly, I give it...
