Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Maryland

This store is gross and dirty. This is the fourth time in a row I have been to this store and it is filthy. The tables are dirty inside and outside the floors are black the rugs look like they are fifty years old and there is always clutter on the counters and behind the counter. Also for the fourth time in a row I ordered cake batter ice cream with cookie dough and brownie for my fiancé who’s pregnant. They broke the cookie dough in half and the brownie was in three pieces, instead of it being cut up and broken apart instinsmallmpieces so you don’t just have hard clumps of frozen brownie and cookie dough. I remember when the edgewater location opened in south river colony and it was awesome! My cousin was a manager through high school. They would sing and the service was quick and the ice cream was always good. And the store being busy is no excuse because the one in Hanover that I go to even though I live in annapolis always has a line out the door and it’s a clean friendly quick store rather then waiting 25 minutes when there are two people working and two customers in line. Either way sadly I’ll probably be back because she loves cold stone but I ALWAYS try to convince her to go to brusters or another location which is what I suggest anyone else do. I’ve waited several visits to post this review during the pandemic, but after tonight I draw the line. At 8:30pm we are outside, socially distanced apart with 4 other families, totaling about 13 people because there are other groups inside. A woman comes out, lowers her mask and starts yelling “I don’t mean to be rude but at 9:00pm I’m locking my door. Me and my employees don’t get paid past 10pm and we have families to care to.” The gentleman with his family in front of us said that he was yelled at last time they entered because of too many people being inside. Which is exactly what happened to my family previously. The woman said “if you aren’t inside you won’t be served, it doesn’t matter how many are inside.” That family went in but the rest of us left. What kind of business, let alone during the pandemic, has that terrible of customer service? Us the patrons were abiding by the socially distanced guidelines and this woman came out and was extremely rude and disrespectful. My family and I are essential employees and although stress consumes everyone right now, if we treated people the way she did over ICE CREAM then she needs a new job. I hope there are consequences to her actions, if anything for not abiding by the social distance guidelines and...

WORST cold stone I have ever been too. 2 teenagers behind the counter. Wouldn’t even give us time to look at the menu for a few minutes, just kept rushing us and asking “are you ready yet” when we literally walked in 2 minutes ago. Kept rolling their eyes at us. One had curly brown hair and REALLY long fingernails. It was disgusting. All our ice cream cups were spilling over and and not clean. They weren’t wearing gloves when mixing the ice cream either. The other had a beanie, sunglasses and headphones in and couldn’t hear us (since they were listening to something else). They got all our orders wrong, charged us for extra toppings but didn’t put any of the topping in the ice cream. The curly haired one with long finger nails gave me my receipt and it was WET since his hands were still dirty with ice cream. And when he returned my card that was WET and DIRTY with ice cream too. I had to wipe everything down myself. I just left with my sisters because I didn’t even want to deal with trying to talk to them. Wouldn’t recommend this location to ANYONE.
