Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Maryland

I don’t even know where to start I wouldn’t recommend this chipotle on Solomons Island Road to absolutely anybody every Time I have went to this chipotle employees have never failed to make me feel like I’m annoying or a burden as if they could care less about their job they will even sit around and laugh at you speaking in Spanish in my opinion very unprofessional and very rude I have never received good customer service from this chipotle today Wednesday on April 12th I went to this chipotle to get myself two tacos as I was ordering my food the employees were rolling their eyes and kept looking at me and laughing after I would ask for each thing I wanted they seemed annoyed at their job and acted as if they didn’t want to be there when it got to the end I asked for light sour cream and the girl literally took a huge spoonful of sour cream and slapped it on my tacos as if she was doing it intentionally when I said something to her about it she shrugged her shoulders and started to laugh I then told her I can’t eat that I would need my tacos remade because let’s be real who wants to eat a taco with a huge spoonful of sour cream on each taco I couldn’t even see my taco she drenched them so much with sour cream she then started to act like she didn’t know what I was talking about saying “ now I’m going to have to make you a new taco there’s nothing else I can do about this“ and I said to her yes that’s what I just asked you to do I can’t eat that she then responded with “really?” She took my bowl that had the tacos in it threw it down in front of another employees face telling her “ now she wants this to be re done” they both then got very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable again as if me coming there to order food was a burden to them absolutely unacceptable and horrible...

Literally do not come here. I have been to this chipotle countless times, and the service only gets worse. Tonight was my final straw. I came in at 10:15, I usually wouldn’t go in that late but it was still nearly an hour before they closed and I knew I’d be quick. I walked in, they practically have everything put away and are actively shutting down the prep area. I understand if you want to get ahead on cleaning duties, but when you still have nearly an hour of service left you should keep some things out for people who just want to get dinner. One of the workers was talking to another lady, seemingly who he knew, and he didn’t even look at me as I stood there waiting for someone to acknowledge me. Another worker came up front from the kitchen and by the look on her face she was not happy to see i was standing there. She asked me what I wanted and I said a bowl, white rice no beans etc. I had to awkwardly walk around the woman standing in the line area talking to the worker to finish ordering my bowl. She was tossing ingredients in without looking, quite literally slopped my sour cream in the bowl without looking down and it got all over the side of the bowl. She rang me up and I left without a single worker saying anything else to me, just sneering as I walked out the door. I have been to many Chipotle's all around the country and have never had a bad meal or service with the exception of the Edgewater Maryland location located at 3046 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD21037.

My wife and I were in the store at 6:13PM on 05/15/2023. The place was filthy, napkins and food on the floor, even worse, the food prep area was a mess, remnants of beans, meat sauces etc were all over the prep area and it needed a wipe down, but the server just laid down the foil on top of the mess to make our food, which does not not isolate the entire burrito from the prep area. Also, the bins of food were all messy and sloppy as well, e.g. pieces of meat, cheese lettuce in the sour cream, and pieces of other things in the rice etc. you get the idea.

The white rice was empty, and my wife and I both wanted white rice, so I asked how long, we never did get a clear answer and finally someone told us we're out of white rice. We settled for brown rice and soon as our burritos were down the line getting salsa, white rice came out. I was very disappointed by this.

We discussed our experience and how disgusted we were by the filthiness of the place--we both decided it might even be un-safe or unsanitary to eat the food there so we will not be going to this location anymore.
