It was a comfort food kind of night taking a break from all the cooking, we decided to go to back to Glory Days Grill and give them another chance! We’ve been eating there since they’ve opened on a pretty consistent basis, and more than a few times you’re a regular. We go sometimes for their weekly specials, and sometimes for convenience because the place is open later than most. But, sometimes it’s a hit and miss as any restaurant can be. One day you go it’s great another day you go not so good, even if you order the same food. As with any Restaurant that has their ups and downs and sometimes inconsistent cooks it can be quite frustrating. Since Covid, a lot of restaurants have had a hard time keeping chefs/cooks or finding good ones! I know the industry so I know it can be tough…. Most people that eat at a restaurant and have a bad experience just won’t go back. They don’t let the owners know about the problems or what could be changed or fixed. So make sure you call your Restaurant or write them and let them know the issue or problem you had with your food or the restaurant so they can change it. The obvious goal of Restaurant is to keep people coming back and bringing in new patrons. And restaurants are a hospitality service. With a goal to serve you and give you an experience that you can enjoy and want to come back again and again. At least that’s the goal lol! What am I getting at? Well recently we went to Glory Days and it wasn’t the best of experiences, so I called Glory Days and spoke with the manager, Kate and she told me to come back in and they would make it right! Well, they made it right! That was an exceptional night! And thank you, Kate! Food was cooked spot on, this time! First, I ordered a Drink, probably one I’d never order, because I don’t drink margaritas that much, but I did because it looked pretty wild in the photo. So I tried out the NEW Secco’Rita, a special take on a margarita. It was actually very good! After the drink, my wife ordered her strawberry salmon salad with feta, and Candied pecans, her sister ordered the ribs, crispy chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and I got the chicken/shrimp penne pasta with a garlic cream sauce, with the sauce on the side… Because I’m trying to eat healthy lol! 🤣 grilled chicken was tender, shrimp had a nice bite. My wife salmon was very good and the crunchy candied pecans gave it a nice texture. The chicken tenders were nice and well… Tender, and the ribs were fall off the bone! All in all, I’d say it was a pretty good darn meal. And and yes, we got a dessert and we finished it off with the bourbon butter cake, which we shared… and it wasn’t too sweet, and looked quite like a dessert you’d find at a high-end restaurant. Yes, the calories will have to be burned off tomorrow 🏃 🤣
**This time I’m giving it four stars, and the next time we come in, if it’s just as good as this meal, I will bump it up to FIVE ⭐️ guaranteed!
So if you’re in the Annapolis, Edgewater areas, and in for the mood of some good comfort, food, burgers, fries, chicken, wings, pasta, and everything in between… Not to mention good drinks! I’m also going to post a few images from previous occasions.
Stop by for a good meal. Tell them Jack Julius sent you from google reviews.

Read moreWe visit this location whenever we are in the area, but specifically on our way home from an annual visit to Delaware.
We look forward to it, as in year's past the service and food has been great. On April 29th we arrived at Glory Days in Edgewater around Noon, there were approximately 3-4 other tables seated at this time. I won't bore you with all the details, but here are the facts. It took 15 minutes for us to be greeted by the server to take our drink orders. We ordered 3 appetizers at that time as well. It took another 15 minutes to receive the drinks, at which time the server told my husband that they did not serve Pepsi, only Coke, so he ordered a Coke. We placed our total food order at this time. It was another 15 minutes before he received his Coke (45 minutes total after being seated). At that time, we asked the server about our food order, and she said she would ask about it. We told her that she should request help if she is overwhelmed (she did seem new). After an hour, we still hadn't received our appetizers, and the server had not come back to check in with us. We decided at this time we were leaving. What was frustrating during this experience was that the server went to 2 other tables multiple times during our visit to refill their drinks, bring them cups of ice, even take their photos, before coming to us once. By the time we left, 4 other tables had been sat and served their food before we got ours. The manager did not offer to help the server, and seemed to not care that we were upset. Really disappointing. Before we left Delaware that morning a friend of mine even said "I'm really excited for a salmon BLT today." We ended up stopping at McDonald's and settling...
Read moreJust went to dinner for the first time tonight at the Glory Days in Edgewater and honestly if. IT weren't for or waiter Sierra I would rate it a zero. The place is dark and dirty. THE aerie person cleaning tables was wiping the food, from the previous customers, to the floor and the tabled was hardly cleaned. There was hair and greasy smudge marks all over the tables. The menu's were gross to touch. The food was marginal at best. We were told that the burgers were really good, they weren't. MY wife's was so over cook it was dry. Mine was supposed to be medium answer was well done. The fries were cold. MY son ordered the wings and said they were fair. Like I said that goodness for Sierra she was very pleasant. A couple things I noted that would make the dinning experience a little better is getting people seated quicker and work on cleaning the place up. When we arrived the wait was 10 to 15 minutes but for the people behind us it was 25 to 30 so they left. SINCE I had never been here before I walked around ro check the place out. There were 8 tables/booths that were open but needed cleaned. There were 3 2 eaters open and a high top that looked like it sat 6, open. There was one person cleaning tables and five kids seating customers. NOW with 12 table open but not cleaned I would think the manager might redirect some help to the table cleaning process to get customers seated and eating. We waited about 10 mins and there were no other customers on the list after us. Remember the customers that came in after us that left. Not sure we will be back with all the other restaurants...
