I have NEVER in my life been subjected to such poor customer service and discrimination in my life. I have come to this Dominos many times since moving to the area. I called the store at 6:45pm to place a Carryout order for 1 Lg Pepperoni pizza, cheesy Marinara and parm Twists, Stuffed Pepperoni and 8 piece Garlic Parm Wings ($34.62). I picked up my food around 7:05 and paid with my bank card. The employee at the register gave me my food (without opening the boxes to confirm everything was correct or complete) and I left. Upon arriving home, I realized that I was not given my wings and my pizza did not have cheese on it. I immediately called the store at 7:21 and spoke to the employee who checked me out. I explained my issue and he asked me for my order number, which was not on the box. I checked my car while he waited, but I could not find the receipt. His voice sounded familiar, so I described that he rang my order 15 mins prior, but I could not find my receipt. He said unfortunately there was nothing he could do without the order number. I asked if I could come back bc my order was wrong and he said, "I am 16 yr old, I make minimum wage, what do you want me to do?" and then hung up.
I drove back to the Crofton location, with the food untouched and walked back into the store. The employee that rang me up began laughing immediately I entered the store, so I asked to speak to the manager. He asked for my receipt again, and I said I could not locate it and he said there was nothing he could do without an order number. I asked to speak to the manager again, who was present making a pizza, but the employee said he was busy. The manager states, "I am busy," but walks over. He says, I heard everything and my employee is right, we need your order number to help you. At this point I am visibly upset and I say "ma'am can you pull up my card info," but IMMEDIATELY correct myself and apologize and say "sir." The Store Manager replies, "did you just call me ma'am, I don't have to talk to you and I have the right to punch out." He takes off his apron and walks away in the middle of our conversation.
I am in absolutely disbelief by this behavior from a Store Manager, who is supposed to be taking corrective measures to fix the situation; however, finds it comical that I am visibly furious. After repeatedly asking for my order to be pulled and fixed, he asks me to leave or he will call the police for trespassing. All the while, he is making very sly, discriminatory comments, such as "you people want free pizza" "I've dealt with people like you multiple times," etc. I ask him to clarify what "you people" means. As an educated woman of color, I know my rights and I have paid for a service that was not filled in its entirety. Because of the social climate I also call the police to verify and have on record that I also made a complaint.
While we are waiting for the police to arrive, I glance at the cash register (where I was initially rang up) and see a receipt on the counter. I pick it up and I see my name and my order!!! THE EMPLOYEE NEVER HANDED ME MY RECEIPT! I bring this to his attention and he tells me I must've came back into the store with the receipt. I have never been so insulted and disrespected in my life. I am yelling in frustration at the complete disregard for my time, character and insinuation that I went through all of this for free pizza. The Store Manager tells me I am not welcome back and I happily oblige, but my order needs to be corrected. Three police arrive on the scene and ask me to step out. I explain how I placed the order, why I was back and why they were called. The officers then speak to the Store Manager. While I am waiting, they open all of the contents of my order (which I never touched or ate) likely for verification purposes. At this point, I ask for my food to be remade because it has been opened and breathed on, its incorrect, and its cold. The Store Manager reported that he had the right to refuse and said no. I was given my wings by the officers and told I could file a complaint...
Read morePlaced an online order at 5:06, food arrived at 6:10 and all 3 items were incorrect. Called and they told me to put wrong food outside and they would be by to collect it and bring me the correct food. 30 minutes later, I had a call from the store saying that the driver had switch the food out. He had not, same food sitting on porch. They then said that the driver had “messed up” and he was right around the corner and would be back with my food. 20 minutes later, food arrived, all items were correct but cold and my daughters pasta looked like half of it was missing, the top of the container wasn’t even placed on properly to keep it warm. Store offered me a credit originally and said they would be back out to bring another pasta but then manager told me that it was passed the “insurance window” and they couldn’t do that. Supposed to be getting a refund to tonight’s food, which is nice I guess but I would have gladly paid for everything and had the right food the first time and saved myself the trouble. Also the manager I spoke with said he didn’t know the GM’s name? Tara something? he said, I just wanted it so I knew who to call if my money wasn’t refunded. Thought it was odd since employees, especially managers usually know their...
Read moreI live across the street from the Crofton location on Defense highway and it is always a go to for my kids. It started good then quickly went down hill. The staff does not communicate at all. No Caesar salad they’ll just send a garden salad. I had one driver just sit my food on the ground no knock or nothing only reason I knew it was there was because my sister was coming over at the same time. Opened the door to my pizza on the ground. It was a free pizza but I did tip and any other time they will call and say they’re outside. Sometimes the pizza is good other times it’s too greasy or just nasty. I don’t know if they got new staff but sometimes the wait for the food is ridiculous and they will not answer the phone or communicate at all after an hour plus of waiting. I just decided to start going over to the Bowie side for my pizza
UPDATE: this location lost another star from me. They do not answer the phone after they left apart of your order at the store. Driver says they’re out of salads but they didn’t call or anything to substitute. Just decided to steal my money. It’s disgusting and unethical. Been on hold for 25 minutes. If I wasn’t sick I’ll go over...
