My son was completely taken advantage of at the Dominos located in the Wheaton Park Shopping Center. My13 y/o ordered a pizza & soda but when the driver arrived he didn't bring the soda never-the-less my son handed the driver a twenty dollar bill to pay for his $12.52 pizza. The driver said he only had $3 change. Now, my son is a tipper because I always told him to leave a tip because they still provided a service. I've always encouraged 15% for okay service and 20% for great. I showed him the trick to calculate how to reach the amount so he knew a $4 tip was inflated PLUS they messed up his order. When the driver left my son called the store to let them know he didn't get the soda or his change. He was told they'd send the driver back. I got home hours later & called to see if they got busy and forgot. The mgr. "Ned" answered the phone and I explained the situation...He was unapologetic and decided to hand the phone to the very driver who took advantage of my son. That was okay I really expected him to say he'd bring the change but when the driver told me my son told him it was okay to keep the change I was shocked. I said he's a child, what do you think he would say? He then told me a child is 10 or younger so I was completely done with him and his response. I teach my children to respect adults and he did the right thing by reaching out to the store to resolve his issue but unfortunately he encountered "Ned" a childish idiot. At this point I asked to speak to a mgr and a guy who said his name was Ned got on the phone and said "lady what do you want? At that point I was furious last time I checked the fast food industry was a service industry - Right??? Completely shocked by his demeanor I decided to go to the store so he could see I am a mother, professional in appearance and yes, I am my child's protector. What's right is right plus whatever happened to the golden rule??? Wow??? I drove to the store and asked to speak to Ned the mgr, who was a young guy with black glasses He was talking down to me in front of at least 6 other workers who I guess felt it was okay because none of them spoke up. Yes, I put Ned on BLAST but not one time did anyone say anything in the defense of doing what was right. I asked for my son's change and Ned began to tell me he didn't know how much he was supposed to get. I let him know he got $3 from his shady driver who claimed he didn't have any change...He then took his time and handed me $4 the whole time taunting me as if it wasn't worth it and I agree...Why would the driver take such a small amount from a child. But think about it...if he does that 25 times in the day that's an add'l $100 in his pocket at least. As I was pulling out of the driveway another driver was entering so I asked him if Ned was the mgr he said no it's Gary. At that time, another employee pulled him inside store so he couldn't talk to me any further. I really wanted to give him the $4 but they went back...
Read moreI select Leave at door every time I order here and rarely is it ever honored nor are my instructions followed.
Last time I ordered, and selected leave at door which wasn’t honored, the delivery man wouldn’t just give me my food after our greeting and continuously was asking me questions about the animals I had in the house and about my tattoos, which was uncomfortable since I was in a rush to close the door so my cats wouldn’t get out. Because of this the door was opened for too long and my cat ran out. Luckily she didn’t go far but I then had to place half the food on the floor, as he hadn’t just handed me all of it, and go chase her down in the front yard. Meanwhile the delivery man is still trying to talk to me about my tattoos which at that point was making me very uncomfortable seeing as I am literally just trying to wrangle my cat and get my food and be done with it.
Today I ordered again, selected leave at door with specific instructions for delivery NOT to ring or knock as I have a sleeping baby with a dog that will bark, along with to leave the food on the side table on the porch next to chairs. Not only did the driver ring the doorbell which set my dog off and then woke my baby, but the food was left on the front door mat where we wipe our feet.
Over the blatant disregard of attention to detail and will just not be ordering from this...
Read moreWe've ordered from this Dominos before and haven't had a problem. But last night (Feb 24, 2025) We ordered and had a terrible experience. First the app said that our delivery had been completed and we hadn't received our food. We called and was told "don't pay attention to the app." We responded "but the app let's us track the driver and it says completed." Irritated, he told us again to ignore the app... no explanation or anything.
10 minutes later our food arrived. My boyfri3nd got loaded tots and the stuffed bread and a brookie. I had a thin crust pepperoni and bacon pizza. I was the only one who ate the pizza and I didn't eat anything else. It tasted fine. But less than 20 minutes after eating it I was in gastrointestinal distress: diarrhea and vomiting all night. I couldn't keep down any stomach remedies or anything. Urgent care says I likely got food poisoning. It's 20 hours later and my stomach is still weak and anything I eat comes right back up or goes right thru. Crackers, ginger ale, imodium AD, everything. Beware when you...
