I am currently confined to a wheelchair and was sending a traveling companion to buy me a donut in B Terminal of BWI, with the intent of treating all those in my traveling party. I know smaller locations often have a smaller menu, so I called about a particular item I wanted. When told it was unavailable and given an alternative, I asked a clarifying question. Suddenly, talking in Arabic between the employee on the phone and a person in the background interrupted our dialogue. Then I was hung up on without a word.
After a few calming breaths, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called back. The same person answered. I told them they hung up on me... no reply. Asked my original question. Asked about another item. It was also unavailable. I quickly explained why I was asking and suggested to save time, he just quickly say which donuts they had. After he had rattled off 3 items, the voice in the background again interrupted and I was hung up on again, even more obviously.
I suspect the supervisor told the employee, he was not to use his time to cater to a "lazy" customer. I would be more understanding were they busy but I could see the service counter from my desk. Just 2 people were served while we spoke, with no one waiting. This is one of the worst experiences of customer service I have ever encountered. If I could give 0 stars I would. They certainly did not receive the orders of our entire party and will not ever from any of us, whether traveling alone...
Read moreThe prices were unbelievably low, totally not airport like price like. The employees were to busy talking about customers who they thought didn't speak their language, rather than giving good customer service. The young Lady that rang me up acted as if I was bothering her in her personal time. There was a young Hispanic guy there that was hustling his tail off preparing orders. He also was engaged in the conversation about customers, but at least he was working hard. A message to ALL you young folks that may read thus, I too worked somewhere I didn't want to in order to pay the bills, but I made it appear to be the best job ever. And guess what? Even though I disliked the job, the district manager loved my work and enthusiasm so much that he promoted me to store manager. That came with a significant raise in pay amd benefits. Also, you never know in this day and age what language/s someone speaks and/or understands. I wanted to give them a piece of my mind but I was already upset about some major travel interruptions, so...
Read moreThe worst Dunkin. Only go there if you absolutely must. Any time the supervisor isn’t there or a long term employee isn’t there, this place runs HORRIBLY! The worker (new employee, young lady with an accent)saw me and said hold on 20minutes I have to go to the bathroom. WHAT!? Another time she, gave me a cold latte when I over heard her supervisor say the steamer isn’t broken, you have to clean it every day. I can’t completely blame one person, i blame myself by still going to...
