Poor treatment of AARP Member
I went in to this store to get my usual coffee and box of munchkins for the office (we have kid patients all day). I have been going to this store for several years but only recently became AARP Member.
Along with the munchkins I ordered my usual large coffee. The girl rang me up and I paid. When I took out my credit card out I also showed her my AARP card. She said it was too late and I couldn't get the free donut because I had to show her the card before she rang up the sale.
I did look on the dunkin website and AARP website and it does not say anywhere 'card must be shown prior to sale'. Nonetheless I use my AARP card everywhere and never had any other cashier say that nor deny giving the free donut. But this clerk proudly looked me in the eye and say no donut. An older woman was standing next to her and did not intervene.
I just thought it was unfair especially since the AARP stickers on the dunkin cash register area don't say must be presented before sale is rung up.
There is another dunkin down the road, I'll be going to them from now on. I am sending a copy of this to Dunkin Donut Corporate office and...
Read moreOn May 26th I went into this Dunkin Donuts the cashier was waiting on the people in front of me who happened to be white American she was very pleasant and nice to them. When I stepped into the counter she didn't even look at me I wanted to place my order but she wouldn't take it's she just kept walking back and forth looking at me and not saying anything to me I stood there for probably five minutes of her ignoring me all I wanted was a dozen donuts if the place is busy all she had to say was hold on a second I'll be right with you instead of ignore me like I didn't exist. I ended up just walking out and not getting my Donuts I hate to say it but I honestly feel like it's a race thing maybe she was scared she thought I was trying to rob the place or something I don't know but I just...
Read moreI came in town to see my grandfather and we actually spent probably an hour or so sitting and chatting. They were cleaning the floor in detail when we walked in but everything was clean and well cared for. The man who took our order was fast and polite, but minor misunderstanding in me asking for "half and half" cream, I think they gave me half cold brew half iced coffee with no cream. It was hard to catch anyone's attention inside at that point but I went to ask for half and half and another woman grabbed up 2 of the little sealed cups to hand me without saying anything and went back to work, but whatever I mixed those in and it was fine. Overall a good spot to pop in and have a quick chat over...
