I called in my order over the phone and the owner Jack was very dismissive and rude and rushed me off the phone. I wanted to ensure my order was correct because I ordered several dishes and one dish contains pork which my husband doesn't eat. So I want to ensure that our food was not accidentally cooked with pork. Once I came home, I opened my Hunan Shrimp and it was a dish with Chicken Breast. When I called to complain about the fact that he rushed me off the phone and got my order wrong, he said he didn't get it wrong. He wrote it correctly. So when I asked was he going to cook it now because I didn't want to wait. Jack asked me well when else will I cook it tomorrow? I asked for his name so that I could speak to him and of course things went down hill from there once I arrived at the restaurant. Full blown arguing back and forth! I was irritated because I was ready to eat and had to drive back to the restaurant because my order was wrong. Jack feels that because he has been in the Osborne Shopping Center for 15 years (he shares that fact often), he can treat customers any kind of way when they are spending their hard earned money. Eddy's Chinese food is nothing spectacular! It is regular standard flavor Chinese food. I only started using them because Foolee's in Marlton Plaza was closed during the pandemic. We ordered house fried rice. I had to request eggs be put into house fried rice my dish. That's so weird that they don't put eggs in their fried rice dishes, SMH! We also ordered sweet and sour chicken dish, fried wontons and shrimp egg rolls. The woman who was on the phone was hard to understand, of course. So when I got there to pick up the order, the woman rang up my order and to my surprise, it came to thirty bucks. I was shocked but I went on to pay bill and went back to my house. The communication was terrible and it would be helpful if the person taking the orders spoke clear English, I'm just just saying! To my surprise, sweet and sour chicken was missing the white rice and eggs rolls weren't shrimp but spring ones. I think the meal normally comes with white rice. I figured I would have to pay little extra for eggs because they normally don't put them in the fried dishes, but to be charged for food that we didn't receive and overcharge 4 dollars are unacceptable.
