We are rewards members and got this room with points. My husband has to travel for work a lot so we have enough points to stay places like this for vacations. Unfortunately you get the less desirable rooms when you are staying free, which I find to be backwards and disloyal to someone who gets free stays on account of his loyalty to them. Our room had the fridge ripped out, old coffee maker, is facing the parking lot, and is as far away from the elevator as possible. I saw the rooms adjacent to us when the maid was cleaning this afternoon and they have kurig coffee makers and are much larger..our room is also the "add on" section of another room that can be made into a double room...but it's is just the "extra" room for the kids. The coffee in the entire building is the worst coffee on the planet also. I mean it is really really bad...not just "not good" but truly bottom-of-the-barrel horrible!!! I don't need to have specialty coffee but everyone wants a decent cup of coffee with their breakfast at least. It is so bad that it's worth mentioning thoroughly. It takes like it was brewed into old cereal boxes, then the water compartment filled up again and ran through with the same coffee grounds/filter into another cardboard container. Yes, that bad. The good thing about this place is the staff is really great. All of them have been very friendly. You get a full breakfast instead of continental. (However don't eat the buffet because the fake scrambled eggs are terrible.) The location is good. The sheets, blankets and carpets are nice. It's fairly quiet. It's a pretty nice hotel except I'm upset about the "loyalty" program. My husband has to buy a whole lot of nights on busy, boring work trips away from the comfort if home to earn the reward of free stays. It would be nice to be able to take his wife and enjoy one of the regular nice rooms when he's here for leisure. So if you're a paying customer, bring your favorite Kurig coffee cups and...

Big portion, lots of blue cheese crumbles, the old bay wasn't overpowering. Bam Bam shrimp - liked the flavor, sweet with a little kick. The coating texture was a little crumbly. Not bad, just not what I was expecting. Oriental Chicken Salad - very disappointing. My least favorite of everything I had. There was just about no cabbage leaf, almost all cut up spine. The dressing, to my taste, was missing Asian flavoring, no ginger etc. Pretty much tasted like an apple cider vinaigrette and although the chicken was good with a nice smokey flavor it didn't seem to fit the Asian flavor profile. Disappointing. Finished up with the Salted Carmel vanilla crumble cake with butter pecan ice cream. With the exception of whatever the side of the cake was frosted with (I removed It) it was very good. It had Carmel on the top and between layers with crunchy bits on the bottom layer. I'd definitely...

Drinks were fine, no cocktail list or specials. Bartender was efficient. The "flatbread" looked and tasted like those inexpensive round frozen pizzas. Served hot, but definitely skip.
Strangely, the credit card system wasn't working? Odd, because couldn't they use the hotel front desk (unless the whole hotel was down), and odd because they should have said something when we sat down. Most people don't carry a lot of cash these days, fortunately we had enough.
Despite the promising name and the separate (from the hotel) venue listings, this is pretty much just a hotel lobby bar. Don't...
