First, I would like to say I have an undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management and understand what proper customer service and creating customer value is! I would have rated this location 5 stars because I came here a lot at one time since it is near my job. However, 9/25/19 changed the way I feel about this location forever. I am rating it a 1 due to lower management staff. I went through the drive thru in the morning at 915am for breakfast. When I arrive up the street at to my place of employment. I noticed my sandwich is the wrong order. So, I leave the food and receipt in my car to return it during my lunch hour. Upon returning at around noon with my receipt and the UNEATEN food. The team lead immediately accusatorily jumped down my throat and asked if I called before I came?! Anybody can say they bought something! I asked her well why would I have to call before I come? If I brought the food back UNEATEN with the receiptom my freetime? I had laryngitis that day so maybe she didn't hear that part! (I knew I brought the food and set it on the counter since it was lunch rush hour another employee must have taken the food and tossed it it whatever). So, the team lead gets the manager and by this time I am agitated. I was told I was yelling but since I had laryngitis I HAD to extend my voice so others could hear what was coming out of it. So basically someone is acting as if I am trying to steal something and I know I am not. I was prepared to pay the difference and didn't consume any of the food. So, I asked the same exact thing to the manager. The manager says you can go! Here is your side salad you can go! As if I'm a "nobody". I told the manager I'm not going anywhere! To make a long story short It basically caused a big embarrassing scene for no reason. All because a "team lead" doesn't know how to do her job! Instead of immediately, looking down at the receipt and asking me if I called before I came?! With a tone. She should have been objective and first asked if I brought back the food? But, instead she accused me and didn't even hear me say I returned the sandwich UNEATEN. The owner took over and intervened and handled it the correct way I must say. He asked what the issue was?...and how he could serve me and apologized and gave me my add on order for free. I called and spoke to him today as well to explain why I was dissatisfied with the treatment and service since I have my voice back and he let me know that another employee that had only been working there for one week admitted to collecting the food. I wish said employee would have told the manager and team lead that when she overheard the argument. That would have cleared that whole...
Read moreI'm sad to rate this Chick-fil-a so low, I'm a big fan of Chick-fil-A and our family goes to multiple locations more often than anywhere else. I've waited a year to write a review, hoping it would improve. This Chick-fil-a has been open a year, but continues to be plauged with problems. My trip today is an example. Ordered a meal, didn't get fries with the meal, had to ask. Once they came, those fries were fresh and good. But another person ordered fries that were overcooked and tasted terrible. Two of us ordered fish fillet, because we had them at other Chick-fil-a locations and they were great. Here they were dry and lacking in flavor. One box had hard black overcooked breading in the box, in addition to the fish fillets. I've had similar experiences here. Getting my order wrong (wrong type of cheese on sandwich), forgetting items, not enough nuggets in the box, no spoon with soup in a drive through order, no straws in bag with a drive through order, no utensils with salad in a drive through order. Ordering in the app is inconsistent, sometimes there are utensils, napkins and sauces are in the bag, sometimes not. So, you always have to check. They also seem to take a long time to get you your food out. Sometimes waiting over five minutes when the place is empty. The workers are usually very nice, they do apologize, but only twice (shortly after they opened) did they give gift cards for errors. This is common practice at most Chick-fil-A locations. Of course most locations also very rarely make errors. I will say the last five times I've gone for breakfast, four there were no issues. Lunch and dinner, four out of the last five we had issues. So, maybe breakfast is the way to go here. Thankfully, there are a lot of other Chick-fil-a locations close by (Glen Burnie, Quarterfield, Marley Station, Pasadena, Arundel Mills and Lansdowne). So, this isn't your only option. I sure hope they improve, but a year in, I'm not optimistic. The service should be consistent, the food should be consistent, there should be a weekly kids night. There is a lot they cold do and aren't yet. They have a great new building, but that's the only reason to go, and lots of reasons...
Read moreWorst service and experience ever!!! My boyfriend had been working all night and ended up having conference calls that didn't allow for him to leave for lunch so I decided to order his favorite meal from this location through doordash a chicken sandwich with no bun. I even messaged the delivery driver to be sure the order was correct as it is a strange order and sometimes confuses the restaurant to begin with. Her response was " I got you". when the order arrived to him rather quickly I might add he was excited and overjoyed to finally have some food however when he opened the bag all he found was TWO BUNS. he then checked the receipt to confirm the order and it clearly stated chicken sandwich no white bun. he had to work an additional 3 hours before being able to fix the problem or alert me that there was a problem. He then took the food to the restaurant to see if they would fix the situation and he was greeted with resistance and several questions and was then told "I'll have to check into this and see what happened" he said I just want my chicken i ordered this over 3 hours ago and I'm hungry. please just make it right the manager or whoever was helping him still resisted, NEVER APOLOGIZED and FINALLY, AND RELUCTANTLY fixed the error. He left and called me to let me know what had happened. I was fuming, I WOULD HAVE NEVER EXPETED THIS FROM THIA COMPANY!! THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. clearly he had 2 of your buns, just fixed the order apologize and potentially offer to make him a new tea to drink while he was eating this meal AND THEN FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED!!! how do you say no Bun and end up with nothing but buns this is ridiculous I won't be back to this location and will have nothing nice to say about Chick-fil-A customer service going...
