Consistent Service, Just Small! This is a surprisingly busy Starbucks. While it doesn't seem like it's in a very busy area, there are a ton of technical businesses near by and they definitely require their coffee! Traffic indoors and in the drive-through can be high at certain times, but you can generally expect exactly what Starbucks offers. The staff is nice and the bathrooms tend to be pretty clean. I have never had an issue of having a drink made incorrectly here but I have witnessed them remake drinks with others without issue. Sometimes I hunker down to do work on my laptop and occasionally, even as early as 7am, every single table and chair will be in use. When this happens I have go to another coffee shop to do work(which ultimately means Starbucks doesn't get my business for the day). If I get up to use the rest room there is a pretty good chance that your seat will be taken when you return and you will have to leave. having a temporary alliance with another person nearby to watch your things can keep me seated, working and ordering throughout the day. While there could be more outlets, there are at least 3-4 available with two sockets for charging. When the restaurant next door closed I was really, really hoping the Starbucks would expand their seating area...alas, doesn't seem to be happening. However, they did recently expand their parking lot which was really needed. This is a good Starbucks in a great location who seems to have effective management and baristas that are capable and friendly. While I wouldn't rate Starbuck's coffee as the best ever, I can at least attest to the abilities of this location to keep up what I would consider to be standard Starbuck's fare. If this location expands their seating, it would only be a benefit to them and...
Read moreI’ve been visiting this particular shop when I’m in town for training for my last 3 visits since December of 2017.
I always stay at the same hotel and get up a little early every morning to go out of my way for coffee from Starbucks. It requires a short but brisk walk that involves crossing a busy 4 lane surface street. I do this because I deem their coffee better than what the hotel offers.
The staff has never been overly friendly at that time in the morning, which is understandable. On my last day, I did the usual routine and hiked over for my coffee. Instead of receiving anything that resembled service I got eye rolls, blank stares, and a general lack of acknowledgement from the SEVEN employees behind the counter. There was no one else in line mind you. The young lady that did eventually help me didn’t bother to greet me before she took my order or thank me for my order. In fact, she didn’t even ask me if I wanted room for cream.
Please don’t think I’m whining here. My intent for this review is to provide some honest feedback. These small things that she and all of her coworkers failed to do may seem like small things. But they are things that they have trained the customers to expect and add value to a trendy and expensive product. (Which lots of other people now offer BTW).
The folks here have lost their way. They need to be trained. Or retrained. You’re not doing me or anyone else a favor by serving up coffee with a...
Read moreI’ve been stopping at this location to get coffee for the past week, and after the behavior I witnessed today by two of the employees I will not be returning. I feel compelled as a business owner to write this review because these employees need a lesson in ethical behavior. This morning I sat at a table, around the corner from the counter, trying to catch up on some emails, when two of the workers were upset that a customer had asked them to remake her drink. As soon as the customer left the store, they started to assassinate the customer’s character. I was disgusted. A few minutes later they started to tear apart a co-worker. They went on and on about this guy who was scheduled to come in later in the day. I was shocked to hear one of these employees say they were training to be a Manager. She shouldn’t even be in a customer service position with the way she talks about people. I had to leave because they were not only caddy but loud. Starbucks Corporate definitely received a call from me today. A Regional Manager should probably go to this location and either get rid of these two or retrain their employees in Customer Service, how to make coffee, and after looking it up, their Mission Statement. They should also be reminded that you never know who may be listening.
I came in to get coffee as an adult and left because I felt like I was sitting in a middle school lunchroom. Dunkin Donuts...
