I’m a burger nut! So I will try out most burger 🍔 joints wherever I’m traveling to or if I hear about a new one that pops up somewhere. I’ve been to Five Guys quite a few years ago in Washington DC, In Georgetown! Almost every time I went there I had a burger. Then not too long ago a Five Guys showed up in Edgewater Maryland. So I ate there regularly. Always enjoy the free peanuts and french fries. But, because I was trying to make healthier choices when it comes to burgers, or eating in general, I stopped eating there and started eating at another burger joint. But every now and then you just want to treat yourself to a greasy yummy 😋 cheesy burger.
I was actually in the strip mall where Five Guys is and decided to stop in and get a burger. I started snapping a few shots. And told them I did some Google reviews and showed them some of my images and they started smiling one of the girls spoken Spanish and told them, and they were all smiling. so I took a few more photos. This order was to go because I got another burger for my wife’s sister. The only complaint was that the burgers were a bit out of place on the bun and the french fries 🍟 were very soft and soggy. And I’m only about a minute away from Five Guys. But the burger, was good and greasy! The only thing I forgot was to grab were some peanuts. 😫 I always got peanuts and I totally forgot about them. The one thing to know about Five Guys is that their burgers are always fresh meat never frozen and french fries are homemade and they show having bags and bags of potatoes sitting in the lobby. Next time, I’ll have to grab some peanuts. But I hope the fries are much better! I like it when fries are not too greasy and have a slight crispness to them. #fiveguys #burgerandfries...
Read moreIncredibly loud. Other than the shouting "hello" and "goodbye" at every guest, the Spanish speaking employees are constantly yelling and laughing at full volume. The topics are often unsavory but apparently they expect that no one that doesn't look like them speaks spanish? Entire restaurant is greasy and dirty (like a KFC). The grill throws up vaporized grease all day. They mop the kitchen, bathroom and restaurant with the same mop (typical but it makes things greasy) and the dish rag they use for the tables is all greasy. The food is super greasy, which makes it "moist" but they wrap it in foil instead of paper or anything which accentuates the greasy oiliness of it all.
The fries are apparently fried straight from raw. They always are soggy. they usually use a russet so it comes out brown as if it was fried. But they're more like cottage fries or home fries, not "french fries".
Occasionally get the urge to eat there when I don't feel like fast food... and food isn't so great in this part of the...

Their Cajun Fries are delicious and ypu get a copious amount, so get the small size unless you are sharing. We like to use the Malt Vinegar for a little added taste.
NOTE: The little burger is the same size as the regular burgers, the only exception is that the latter uses TWO patties vice one. The regular burgers are a mouthful!!
5 Guys is a well run set of franchaise restaurants. Standards seem to be enforced at all locations, and those standards are well above average. So, the cost is higher, but well worth it in our opinion.
And, you get all the free peanuts you can eat whenever you visit any 5 Guys restaurant!!
Highly reccomended if you want a delicious burger or a 100% beef hotdog with a vast array of toppings at no...
