My husband and I go to Friendly's quite frequently. This is the WORST Friendly's we have ever been too, and we have been to this one a lot because it's the closest to our house. First few times we went was mostly just slow service. Then they started messing up our orders. Then we discovered their Honey BBQ Chicken sandwiches, and when we actually started getting food is when the service got worse. For the sake of having an extremely long review I'll just go over the visit we had last night. So the first thing that was sort of annoying was we got our appetizer AND food at the same time. The second thing was they messed up our sandwiches, I point to things when I order them and I even specifically stated I didn't want a lot of ranch on it.. But she still ordered the CHIPOTLE sandwich (which doesn't even have ranch so how she screwed this up I really don't know), but that sandwich was okay so I got over it. What really made me mad was after she dropped the food off she disappeared, I had wanted to tell her that the sandwich was wrong, but eventually just ate it because I didn't feel like waiting. My husband drinks so much when he eats and she never came by for a refill. We sat there for 10 minutes AFTER we finished eating, just sitting. At this point we decided to get ice cream to go, so we order the ice cream and she still didn't offer to get us a refill. We waited 16 (SIXTEEN) minutes for her to bring our ice cream to us so we could go. Then we get the bill, and we ordered mini mozarella sticks for our appetizer and the total for those was $7.49 yet on the menu they said $3.99. I have no idea if there is 2 different sizes or if there is any other type of mozerella sticks, but again I'm a pointer so I POINTED to the $3.99 ones. This visit was so unbelievably frustrating that I'm just done with this one, next time we'll drive the extra 5-10 minutes to the Friendly's...
Read moreTERRIBLE experience at the Crain Hwy location on 4/6/23! Did an online order, spent almost $70, and EVERYTHING food wise was terrible! The burger was under cooked, the fries were limp and tasteless, the stir fry was 3/4 rice and the sauce was disgusting, the tater kegs were just a lil bit bigger than regular tots, no flavor, the mozzarella sticks were dry, salty, and rubbery, and they gave us no marinara sauce at all. The milkshake was $8 and was in a skinny a** cup, definitely not worth it. The best part of the whole thing was the 2 Cokes. They also only gave us 2 straws, not 3 and NO utensils. We called the restaurant immediately and first we were told to call back in 20 minutes and ask for Leo, which we did, and he put us on hold for over 30 minutes, called back again and spoke to someone named Katherine, who took all of our information, would have Manager call us, he never did, called again today, over 24 later, and finally spoke to Manager Andrew, who refused to refund us anything, and actually argued that our food was fine and he went back and looked at the cameras in the kitchen. Are you kidding me? What kind of Manager does that? Shouldn't customer satisfaction come first? Finally refunded us $25 out of $70. EXTREMELY unprofessional and we will NEVER go to that location again. Now I see why thier parking lot is empty 99%...
Read moreUpdated to 1 star. Food took over 30 minutes to get to us. Only one other table in the restaurant and they were finished eating. My child got a cheese quesadilla that was only warm. Half of the waffle fries my husband got were cold. And my dish wish the waitress recommended was not even 1/2 a bowl full and was luke warm. This was a specialty menu item that cost 12.99! Waitress never came back to check on us. This place has gone down hill. See picture of my food.
3 stars for ice cream only. We went for ice cream to congratulate our daughter on good grades. The waitress took forever to bring our drinks.Only brought one napkin to the table for 3 of us. Took our order, brought the ice Cream. Came back and checked on us when we were nearly finished, dropped off the bill and never returned. I had to get up and ask someone for napkins. When trying to pay the bill I stood at the register being ignored for a few minutes before she finally came to help. Then she didn't have it together enough to give me my change. I finally told her to keep it, giving around a 45% tip. I was almost to the door before she gave a thank you and have a good night. This just proves why we don't go for...
