Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Maryland

Pickie eater alert.....very rare I eat out but was shopping at Walmart on Sunday and got hungry. Saw Jersey Mikes next door so decided to give them a try. Best decision I've made in a lonnggg time. The place was busy so I thought it would take forever, but ended up being a quick and very pleasant experience. Place was so clean, staff was very polite and efficient. Everyone working following Covid guidelines, which is important to me. Well, I ordered a chicken cheese steak on a wrap. By far the best chicken cheese steak wrap I have ever had! I even asked the guys on the grill to warm up the wrap first, no problem at all. The guy with the dreads and the guy with the pink in his hair listened to my request and wala, my wrap was amazing! This Jersey Mikes was like a well oiled machine. Every employee worked together and I watched every customer before me get great service, just like I did. Thank you's, come again and so on. I would recommend anyone who has never tried Jersey Mikes to try this one, you will not be disappointed and I will be a long time customer. Oh and if you've never tried the chicken cheese steak wrap, you should. A+++. Thank you for such a great eating...

They actually do the "Jersey Sub" schtick/gig here - just about right! I would have given them 5 stars, except that I did have one "complaint" that I brought to & showed the Mgr there on duty - but it went ignored. - The fountain soda machine was dispensing "bad" Mountain Dew. Came out as near-flat, no flavor (at all) - tonic water. I ate in & saw several other customers after - also dispense MD, only to pour it back out - and those doing carry out - got home to nasty surprise! They gave one walk-back returner - a bottle of MD as a replacement when he came all the way back & complained - but still, did absolutely nothing to either correct/fix it or put an "out of order" on the MD spot - and just allowed it to continue to go on that way with total disregard. :( The food quality & prep though, in of itself though - 5-stars, and made my simply switching drinks a minor inconvenience & overall therefore, still worth 4 stars. ...

This review is from our visit 3 weeks ago. The good: online ordering was easy, though there is no way to switch to a different cheese if provolone on turkey isnt your thing. I requested a swap to American in the "notes" section, but it was ignored. Sandwiches were ready for pickup right on time and Contactless Pickup was quick and easy. Staff greeted me and was friendly when I walked in. The bad: I guess I'm in the minority here, but these are overpriced subs that arent much better than nearby competitors. $15 for a "giant" sub is way too much to pay. Yes, the bread is slighter longer than a "footlong" (15" vs 12" but the same 3" width and 2" height), but there wasnt enough meat/toppings to cover the entire roll. My family all agreed that everything tasted very salty (cheesesteak, Italian, and plain turkey & cheese). I'd rather support a mom&pop place up the road who offers a better tasting sub, with a side of fries,...
