Eldersburg Branch Library is one of many Local Libraries of Carroll County Public Library System for the State of Md
I got to this one mostly for it's close to home as I sit right on the middle of Eldersburg, Finksburg, Westminster + Mt. Airy as going to Howard County Glenadyl + Ellicott City Library
All Libraries doing Md Convid 19 Requirements so do call for how theyr are doing their protocol with health department safety and welfare ..
They all do call in orders drive by pick up and safety outside ride by drop out and and materials are clearly cleanly satisfied sanitized prior to pick up and then the drop offs are not touched to 6 days to make sure all materials of dangerous situation for them their employees and their customers are not contaminated as they also clean and disinfect the inside is also clean and well organized and that there's something there that you do not find they can always program to have it shipped from somewhere else to be picked up so they are always helpful for any information you need to know and a great resource and time to spend at a computer if you don't have one it is limited to time on the computers to share but they also clean in between you leave for somebody else to use Terrence like a sign in to use the computers and sign out so that they know the disinfectant between ...so as it was open you could go inside it's phase three but it has gone back to phase two it's just drop by and pick ups now so enjoy a book or video CD or whatever they have to offer it's always there at the library to find new knowledge My theory is if you don't learn something new everyday you're any existing not living. So go to any local library feel safe to discover anything you like to your imagination to plain facts all libraries can help you on...
Read moreCarroll County Public Libraries are amazing. They have a wonderful variety of programs, from the usual Story Time or Paws to Read (reading to a dog) to Yoga and Preschool Science. There's literally something for everyone.
There's a lot of media choices too. Books for the book lover but also playaways, audiobooks, dvds, magazines, and plenty of digital content.
Eldersburg specifically has a lot of programs, content, computers and work space, and a decent-sized children's section. The children's section has lots of opportunities for play, including video games, play kitchen, and toys. My kids have always loved coming and it's always in use. The staff also does a wonderful job of getting people to visit. Each month there's a scavenger hunt with prizes and the summer reading program is always a big hit.
It's a great asset to the community and they're always looking to do more, including offering passport photos, providing meeting spaces, and showcasing local events, like theatre productions from Liberty and Century High schools.

Read moreI have been coming to this library for seven years. The librarians and staff are so kind, wise, and funny! I met my first friend, the legendary Ms. Patsy, at the library about eight years ago. Branch Manager, Nadine Rosendale, is a champion who works hard to make our library a special place. The librarians just recommended eight books for me that I literally can not put down. Come on over to the Eldersburg branch if you want your kids to grow up surrounded by kindness and good books. Or if you want to make a friend and read. Or if you need to make copies and get a bill sent. This library does everything and more. Did I mention I...
