Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Maryland

I like Chipotle in general, but this isn't one of the better ones. As a positive, I feel like this location gives good portions and the workers have always been polite. There is rarely a wait in line. You can get in and out pretty fast for lunch after shopping in nearby stores. The chicken tastes good. But, the burrito fillings aren't distributed for consistent bites, and my burritos are more often than not wrapped badly here. I don't order any double portions nor even all the topping options, and I think my last three loosely wrapped burrito tortillas exploded open spilling out the burrito fillings into a messy pile before I was even a fourth through eating the burrito, even with the support of the foil. If I wanted to use a fork I would order a bowl, not a burrito. The soft tacos have been fine. The fountain drinks sometimes taste off here, so I rarely get them here and opt for the bottled Mexican coke instead (which they will open for you.) The chips taste less fresh than at other locations, so I've stopped adding chips to my orders. Ordered online, 2 burritos and a large order of chips w/queso. Order placed at 8:26 pick up at 8:45. Got there around 850, food wasn’t ready, ticket hanging up .I’m pretty laid back, no big deal. What got under my skin was the two people that walked in after I did who hadn’t placed their order got started before mine did, ya know the order that was placed over 30 mins ago at this point in time. Cool, showing my frustration would have sent this team of uncoordinated group of fellas into a tailspin. No effort in any urgency or professionalism. Listen, I’ve been to an assortment of chipotle restaurants across multiple states, this was the smallest burrito I’ve ever seen come from a chipotle. Remember those chips from the first sentence? Ordered online, the extra/double meat bowl (which costs an additional 4.15$ + tax) came with less than half a scoop of meat total. I had the wherewithal to check when I picked it up, got a lot of looks from the guys making the online orders as if they knew what I was complaining about. The other bowl was a salad and figured how do you mess up a salad? Should have checked that as well, when I got home found out it had literally 4 pieces of lettuce. Called and spoke the manager Eddie who apologized and said “he would talk to them”. Can’t say I’ll be going back. Don’t bother ordering online from here unless you check your order while at the restaurant. Restaurant was not busy whatsoever ever, 1 person in line and at least 10 orders waiting to be picked up, can’t imagine many of those...
