Ledo Pizza Fort Washington, MD — Restaurant in Maryland

I’m a food critic I must have been to at least 16 Ledo’s Pizza in the surrounding DMV area. Being a food critic allows me to compare the food to the picture advertised. All pass with a grade A+ rating but one Ledo’s Pizza did very very very poorly on the artichoke chicken brochette and there steak and cheese sandwiches, possibly there pizza. That’s the Ledo in Fort Washington MD. located in the shopping center where the Safeway grocery store is located and Dollar Tree. I know it’s hard times for everyone. But, you do not cheat the public out of there money and serve less toppings on there food. My brochette on 3 of the bread had 1 small piece of chicken the 4th piece had 2 pieces. The artichokes was barely on the 4 breads. Barely any mayo and cheese. The reason I didn’t bring it back my son pick it up for me we live 30 miles away. When he got home I was like why is the box so light. I said OMG!! What in hell blazing is this. You see I’ve been to at least 16 Ledo’s all over the DMV from up in Baltimore to Columbia Md, a quite a few in VA and DC. When you try there Chicken Artichoke Brochette the box is really heavy. I was in Silver Spring 4 days ago I order the same thing and it was perfect. The Ledo’s stores I went to, there brochettes really look like the picture that’s advertised. Not this Ledo’s in Fort Washington very very very disappointing. I grade them a F for failing the public. I just read a lot of you all reviews. This particular location needs to closed down for poor service. Then they always follow up y’all complain with: thank you for your comment we’re sorry that you’re experiencing this issue, please tap link and let us know more about your experience. That’s a bunch of malarkey. A number of y’all stated it was the owner that was rude and the manager was rude. I wish I had read y’all’s review before my son attempted to go in there. He just happened to be out that way and asked if I wanted something from Ledo’s that’s when I ask for their brochette. People need to protest this store if they’re that rude. And taking peoples money and not giving good service. Well I know who to report them too....

While on my way to Ledo's last night I called to place an order but was immediately put on hold... which is okay because it's 8o'clock on a Saturday so I understand that it may have been busy... this was not a problem until I could literally hear the other phones in the restaurant being answered and served while I'm still waiting. When I finally walked into the restaurant, I told the woman at the cash register who had just got back to my call as I was approaching the counter that I was on hold for 7 minutes. She suggested that I called the wrong store, and that I could not have been telling the truth because at most I would have only been on hold for a few seconds. I then asked if I could have a conversation with the store manager to address this customer service issue. When she told me that she was the manager I asked if I could have her name so I can properly address her in this comment, she ignores my request and proceeded to ask me for my order. At this point, I could clearly see that she did not care nor was she interested in anything I had to say. Absolutely terrible customer service.

In all honesty, if she would have apologized for making the mistake of forgetting that I was on the line, I would have probably dropped the whole ordeal. Instead, I told her that I will not eat at the Ledos's in Fort...

I've been a loyal customer of Ledos for years. I would often visit their Hyattsville location and then their College Park location until they closed. Unfortunately,, the Swan Creek location is as bad as a food establishment can possibly get. My daughter and I ordered 2 pizzas today. We ordered 1 with pepperoni and anchovy and the other with pineapple and sausage. There was 1 piece of sausage on every other slice with barely any sauce. The other had a crumble of anchovy on each slice. I was so disgusted that I called the restaurant and spoke with the so called manager, Shameema (sp). She was rude and tried to over talk me. She said, if more sausage & anchovy was needed I could've ordered extra. I told her I would not pay extra for a topping that should have been adequately supplied. She never once asked how she could make things right or even offer a simple apology. The only thing that she could tell me was that a whole slice of anchovy could not fit on a slice. Somehow, the other locations can get it right. Shameema should be embarrassed to call...
