Marcela's Chicken — Restaurant in Maryland

I came here for lunch. When I arrived, I ordered at the front and sat on the dining room side (I did not realize they had a full service wait staff). I ordered the pollo saltado and a chicken cheese papusa. As you can see from the photo, the portion was very generous. (I did not take a pic of the papusa). The food was hot and very fresh. The flavors were pleasing and I would definitely order both again. The service was quick and friendly. They smiled a lot and I felt like they valued me being there as a customer. When I first found this place years back it was great. The food is still good but the service is bad. Also they have raised their prices drastically but it does not reflect on the menu prices. Once they bring the check, they tell you the prices have gone up. Last but not least, the food has made me sick the last two times I have been there. The place doesn’t look the cleanest and that doesn’t bother me but the fact that I have gotten sick the last two times have made me concern. I’ll probably go back again but if I get sick again, then I am done...

This place is absolutely disgusting and they think folks are stupid. I ordered my food and was very clear as to what I wanted. When my food was ready he says 35.00 I said hold up the price says this and that he says I tell you( exactly his words) when you ordered the price went up. Bs!!!! It was barely any chicken in my food and you get your salad dressing in a dam sandwich bag. Then he proceeds to argue with me about what I ordered Unbelievable!!!!! This place is run down and they cater to their own. I would never ever come back here and I suggest you go...
