I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service and quality at one of your franchise locations: 8191 Westside Blvd, Fulton, MD 20759. My recent experience on the night of [Date], at around 10:44 PM, was particularly frustrating and reflects a consistent pattern of poor service at this location.
Upon arriving at the drive-thru speaker, I waited for several minutes without any response. After moving forward to the first window and finding no staff present, I proceeded to the second window where an SUV was already waiting. By the time I reached the second window, it was 11:05 PM. Despite being in line for over 20 minutes, no one took my order. When I finally asked to place my order, I was told that the restaurant was closed.
Additionally, when I requested to speak with the manager, he arrived after a four-minute delay and was unable to communicate effectively in English. This lack of responsiveness and communication is unacceptable and does not meet the standards I expect from McDonald's.
This is not the first time I have experienced such issues at this location. Consistently, the service is slow, and the quality of the food, particularly the Quarter Pounders, is subpar. As a loyal customer, I am deeply disappointed by the repeated lack of attention and care shown by the staff at this franchise.
I urge you to address these issues promptly. Improved training for the staff, particularly in customer service and communication, as well as ensuring consistent food quality, is essential. I hope that my feedback will lead to positive changes at this location.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and to seeing improvements at the Fulton,...
Read moreThis is the second time I have experienced poor customer service at this establishment, and I feel compelled to address the issue. I attempted to redeem my birthday reward for "any item of my choosing for free." I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with cheese and a large fry, assuming that the item with the lowest cost would be complimentary. To my surprise, I was informed that I could only receive a medium fry as my birthday gift, despite the fact that a medium fry is CONSISTENTLY offered for free on the app. I clarified to the cashier that the code was for my BIRTHDAY GIFT and that it stated any item of my choosing was supposed to be free, but she adamantly insisted that I could only have a medium fry. I was deeply disappointed that my BIRTHDAY GIFT WAS ESSENTIALLY RENDERED USELESS, as I could have easily obtained a medium fry for free on any other day. To further exacerbate the situation, I was charged 35 cents for a sweet & sour sauce, 50 cents for adding lettuce, and 90 cents for Big Mac sauce. In essence, my birthday gift was taken away, and I was subjected to additional charges totaling $1.75. This experience has left me profoundly dissatisfied and resolute in my decision to never patronize this McDonald's location again. I will opt to travel to a different McDonald's in Columbia, even if it means going out of my way, to avoid the evident greed and poor customer service that characterize this...
Read moreThis McDonald's is located in the famed Maple Lawn community (aka Fulton, MD just northwest of Laurel, but in Howard County)
I was Surprised, Astonished, and DELIGHTED! PAR EXCELLENCE!
I've NEVER been to Any McDonald's that was as "CLASSY" and Seemingly "Upscale" in my LIFE! I'm Sure they exist in Posh communities like Beverly Hills or Short Hills in New Jersey . . . But EVERYTHING Here was on a Completely different Level . . . Management Staff looked like New Money And Old Money . . . Shirt and Tie or Professional Attire for the Women. FOOD (I had Breakfast) was Prepared to PERFECT! I visited this location Friday morning around 840am.
Atmosphere was like an Airport AIRLINE "Private" PUB but NOT Stuffy!
Overall I was VERY IMPRESSED!
Obviously and Sad to Say, McDonald's can't offer this level of "Class" Everywhere? Some neighborhoods simply would not Appreciate the investment? But IF McDonald's wants to Compete with Industry leaders or Gain a "Stronger" Market Share? This would be a Move in the Right...
