I used to work there and yes no one is serious about their job there simply because of the way they are treated by the managers. Some managers were really nice and great people. The other ones on the other hand one in particular had the nerve to talk crap about me to a coworker right next to me when i was taking an order. Then has the audacity to threaten to fire me when i said that i could hear her and that I was right there. I worked there for two years got a 15 cent raise my first six months there. we were supposed to be reevaluated every six months. i was reevaluated only two times. in addition i was never promoted and if that wasn't bad enough i had my raise taken away the start of the new minimum wage increase of July 2016 and given a flat rate. They lied to me and told me i was getting a 75 cent raise i found out later that day that that was just minimum wage. The bad managers there had a habit of talking crap to others and knew they could get away with it. With the new people they get no hours at all and are yelled at because they get no training do to not having hours. The new people will be forced to leave even if they have not worked two hours which is in fact required by law if the labor is "too high". I was yelled to for being late a lot because they would never schedule me in my availability. They would give me problems about me not being there "on time" when it was my day off and they asked me to come in at a certain time but wanted me there earlier. Also i was yelled at by a manager that was late everyday and lived 10 minutes away on foot not to mention she drove to work. I live in Glen Burnie and biked there everyday... They refused everyday to let me transfer to a closer sister store. No one ever showed up for work i missed a total of 2-4 shifts in my 2 years of working there and my last time i called out they said if i tried to call out again i would be fired. I was hated my most of the managers because the customers said things to the managers about how they treated me. I was always told that i would make a good manager not because i was good at managing but because i was good at leading and helping others. My managers despised this and that made them treat me worse then everyone else. And if you get sub anything they made the system so they charge you an extra 30 cents for something like filet to tarter sauce sub big mac sauce because they told us to hit add. Me being fair and honest i told them that i refused to follow this rule and i always hit sub because it didn't charge. At one point they had gotten to the point they tried to make me charge people 10 cents for an extra sauce packet. That was another think i refused to follow because it was simply wrong. In conclusion this McDonald's is terrible from when i worked there. I have not been there with the new management but i know there was at least 50+ people that were hired and quite from the 2 years i worked there. They also give out the older stuff even if you ask for made to order simply because they want to make the food bonus of month... which never...
Read moreNight crew has been great! The other shifts… Please for the love of God make sure everything is in the bag. You have one job.
Let me explain why. You’re a fast food restaurant so the cooks prepare the items. The expeditor fills the bag and then the person in the window hands it out. So it’s literally 1 job.
Don’t clear the screen before it’s out because you won’t remember. What’s sad is it’s listed on the receipt Stuck to the bag and items are. Still missing. Mistakes happen but paying for an entree and getting home to see it’s not there means everyone is eating cold food and you have to drive back to get it. Please just make it easier on the consumer This is the only reason people choose Chick-fil-A over other fast food, all the fast food is more or less equal the service isn’t and damn. I dont even order meals . Like 3 items and one is missing? Every time?? And I rarely go? And when I called the person who answers just put the phone down without any “please hold” or anything. So I wait. And a manager thought he was addressing a previous messed up order. Statistically slow down a tad and ensure quality. It’s basic. Mistakes over habits is a big difference , and yes I’ve worked at...
Read moreWorst management i seen. I was employed there for 3 days and before hiring manager Marco stated that I must have hair cut and shave and clean cloths. My first day I started up front on cashier following day I was no longer allowed up front and was put in the drive thru. I eventually quit due to feeling of being racially profiled and my look since I'm white and they all are Mexican. They would speak Spanish and stare at me and start laughing or make faces. Finally I had enough and walked out. Few days later I came to take my uniform in and get my check they made a big deal about it and told me next week. So here I am today walking in to get my check today and they made a huge deal about if the check was there or not and Marco goes let me go get it comes back and say no check you have no check right now come back at 5 then I said ok I'll be back at 5 then he goes you have no check come back tomorrow. The first shift employees are all Mexican and all profile white people and that is what they were...
