On April 19, 2019 at 3:44 pm I placed a prepaid online order to Pappa Johns Pizza, Forrestville MD. location. I have ordered from here quite a few times. Upon delivery the drivery the driver demanded that I come outside to get my order. I was taken back because I hadn't been ever asked to do so in the past. I explained to the driver that I was unable to do so! He then said "Well You Don't Want Your Order", then hung up the phone. I then proceeded to call the store. The Regional Manager loudly and aggressively got on the phone saying "MY DRIVERS CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT TO DO" also "JUST DON'T ORDER FROM HERE NOMORE". I ask him what was his name, his response was, "YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW MY NAME. Then hung up the phone. After all the back and fourth the driver( which his description is) tall, with long un kept dread locks!...finally brought my pizza to the door. By then it was cold and hard. I called headquarters to make a complaint, I made a complaint on BBB, and I will continue to write reviews. Read moreI placed and order on my papa johns app on Friday night. I waited over an hour for my pizza I watched the app it said my pizza was on the way. I never received my pizza. I then called the store an was given to the manager who said his name was Jeremiah or Jerimi if that was his name. He proceeded to yell at me then cancelled my order He told me if I wanted a pizza I had to order another one. I asked what happen to the pizza I ordered he told me I canceled it. I simply said no I didn't. He became angry with me and hung up on me. After waiting for this pizza that obviously wasn't coming I proceeded to go to another store to pick it up. I have been eating papa johns pizza forever it is my go too. If this is how you train your staff or allow your staff to talk to customers this is unacceptable and I will never eat or buy another slice of pizza from you ever. Read moreI ordered pizza from here on a Friday night. I didn't realize until after I had placed an order it the estimated wait time was going to take 90-104 minutes. When I called to cancel, the lady on the phone insisted it would only take an hour. I decided to cancel anyway, to which she decided to tell me that I could have easily seen how long it was going to take before I ordered. (I ordered through the website not door dash, so no it doesn't show the time until AFTER the order is placed). When I said sorry I didn't see that until after I put the order in, she caught an attitude and said I wouldn't get my money back for 3-5 days and then just hung up on me. Overly rude for no reason because I didn't want to wait almost 2 hours for a pizza. Not to mention, I canceled within 10 minutes of ordering so it's not like my pizza was already being worked on.
