Furniture Place — Hotel in Forestville

This is by far one of the best furniture store in the DMV!! The store is well loaded with different beautiful furniture pieces to choose from on the floor and in their warehouse but if you’re like some of us who’d prefer something unique or specific that is not in the store or not in stock they can order it!! And trust me, compared to other stores their waiting time is quite fast..2 to 4 weeks for special orders except for items manufactured by ashley that may take a bit longer and the sales people let you know it may take longer so you get to decide if you want to wait or choose something thats in stock and i think thats fair. They are retailers so if you need something thats not in stock and that is what you want you have to be patient till they recieve your order from the manufacturer. I love their variety and YES THEY HAVE SOME LOW PRICED FURNITURES TOO if thats what you are looking for but pls dont come and write a bad review if it breaks .. you chose cheap lol.. All in all it is an awesome store and the manager JACKIE IS AWESOME SHE CAN HELP YOU FIND WHATEVER YOU NEED.. they also have everything the marlos ashleys and regency have and more and their prices are wayyyyy better. Worst place I have ever conducted business with. Please please anyone reading this do not buy anything from these people. I just reported them to the Better Business Beureau. I bought a sectional and a bed for my mother they said I would get the bed in a couple of days a month later my mother's bed has still not arrived. I placed the order on the 6th of Dec, they promised delivery on the 10th, they never called me and when I call them they push the date back to the week after. That week came nothing, they told me the 28th with the sectional. I called on the 28th to confirm and they told me the 3rd of January. I called on the 2nd of January to confirm delivery and they told me I would have to wait until the 7th. And when I called the warehouse they said I wouldn't receive it until the 17th. My mother has back pains now because she's been sleeping on an air matress whilst she waited for her bed. I cancel the order because I have no choice but to go buy another one which was delivered the same day by the way after I explained my situation. And the owner refuses to cancel the order. He said I'm stuck with the bill. I waited a month haven't even received the product yet and when I tell them to cancel it they said no. Terrible service period. The folks that assisted with ordering the furniture were helpful up until payment was made. The advised arrival would only take 2 weeks - it took about 8 weeks, then they scheduled a delivery date without even contacting me to verify my availability. When they tried to deliver my furniture I had to pay double because THEY were not equipped to deliver to my home and then the driver asked if I could assist him with unloading my items!! And then was not even able to deliver on the scheduled date due his own personal issues! When i contacted the office to reschedule they didnt bother to help me and sent me another number to call to schedule my delivery because they “didn’t want to deal with it” . Then when they were finally able to deliver, they didn’t arrive with all of my items and another one of my items was missing a piece so i had to wait even longer for my order to arrive and here we are again, they dont want to deal with setting up my delivery...because once again, they scheduled a date without contacting me....save your money and...
