I have been a loyal customer of Pizza Ravens for the last 3 yrs ordering up to 2-3 times a week for our family in Rivera Beach. I have never had 1 single complaint until last night July 2 2020. We ordered the food about 2hrs before closing. I was finishing building my desk and by the time I got to the food and heated it up and finally sat down to eat.
I took a bite of the pizza then I thought well maybe it was just my taste buds or something then I took another bite of the food and it still has this chemically taste like pinesol or something similar. This is pizza I order quite frequently so I knew the difference immediately. I had other family members taste it to see if it was just me or the food. All 3 of them agreed that it had some chemically taste to it and we all agreed to not eat it.
I called to remedy the situation immediately after this discovery but by that time they were closed or was not picking up.
I was so upset that I threw it away and my night was ruined at that point. I wanted to enjoy a nice meal after working all day now. I had to order Uber eats from another sub shop that was still open in the area.
I called the next day around 4:30. July 3 2020 and told the owner about this and grant you I have never once complained about their food or was dissatisfied for the last 3yrs of ordering frequently.
If I could put a zero for how the owner treats a long lasting customers I would have. He was very disrespectful and did nothing to make this situation right.
They just lost a long lasting customer over a medium pizza...

Fried mushrooms were saturated with grease from the fryer and the chicken nuggets were so so... Overall I would have to say that this place is way overrated!! Everyone always said how great they were??? Must have only been talking about pizza because the rest of my $80 plus dollar order sucked! Girl answering the phone didnt know where my very local address was and had to wait for another employee to explain where I lived? Asked about salads and his answer was "we have garden salad" After placing my order look online and they have EIGHT different salads! Salads were big and fresh and lots of tuna on the tuna salad but customer service sucked too. Told me there was limit one per customer for online kids meal special of 5 nuggets and fries for $1.99..... spent almost $90.00 for four adults and four kids and couldn't get enough kids meals for the dinner? I will not be returning for another grease saturated meal of bread and fake imitation crab meat crab...
   Read moreHere i am holding my cold, burned, inedible white pizza up like a sheet of paper. No worries because it is so crispy and cold, not an atom will drop to the carpet. PRs is becoming hit or miss again with the quality of food that shows. It's down to a toss of a coin if they will follow preparation requests/instructions or if it will even be warmish. Only saving grace was Grubhub's money back guarantee.
UPDATE: Asst Mgr reached out in an effort to make things right. It was appreciated. She owned the mistake and made a reasonable offer to make up for it. Grubhub's refund was enough for me. I would say for PR to improve their systems and attention to detail. I'd rather hear my order is late because it didn't meet their standards and had to be remade, as opposed to getting something inedible.
