My friends and I dined in for Cinco de Mayo excited to try the food. We waited an hour for a table which wasn’t a problem at all because we saw how busy it was. We sat down and waited for our server to come which took a little bit but again we all didn’t mind. We ordered our drinks, an appetizer, and our entrees. It took a little for our appetizer but we were patient. Our appetizer finally came but we got it with our entrees. We got the appetizer to eat before our entrees but we didn’t care and ate anyways, my friends got mixed fajitas and they loved it. I got a shrimp entree served with a sauce and I didn’t like it at all. The sauce was supposed to have a garlic taste but tasted soapy. I thought maybe my taste buds were acting weird until my friend tried it also and it tasted soapy to her too. We had to ask a server to get our server and I was asking if I could replace my entree with something else. He looked annoyed and described to me what I got trying to make me feel dumb. I told him that the dish was described as “laced with garlic” but I didn’t even taste a little bit of garlic. He told me that I can order something else but I will have to pay for that new order and the shrimp entree. I was confused considering I had one bite and after didn’t touch my food. I’m not the type of person to send stuff back and tried to eat it but I just couldn’t. The server after saying that to me walked off and I asked a server to get a manager. The manager comes and greets us asking how we were doing and I reply good. After I told him I didn’t like my entree his whole demeanor changed and he was aggressive. He was loud and seemed annoyed to even speak to me. He told me the same thing the server said saying it is described in the menu and trying to make me feel dumb. I said I was ok and I wouldn’t order new food and just pay for the meal. After him yelling at me he asks if I want a box for my food to take home. Why would I take a dish I don’t like home to take with me? When the manager left I started crying because I was already having a bad day and that experience just made it worse. There was another situation as well with my other friend when she got her mixed fajitas. She didn’t want the guacamole salad and asked for extra rice and beans. The server said yes and she was missing her beans. We told the server and she got her beans but when she got her bill she was charged $3 for the beans. She asked why considering the fajitas come with beans and he said it doesn’t but my other friend got beans and wasn’t charged. He also mentioned he has been here for 2 weeks and to take the charge of the beans out the tip. The same friend also wanted to place a takeout order to take home to her husband and kid and he said that they aren’t doing take out orders because it is Cinco de Mayo. When we were all waiting we saw people coming in picking up to go orders so we were confused. She just ordered everything for dine in and boxed it up herself. I forgot to mention how he wasn’t checking up on us at all and didn’t offer any refills. We all lost our appetites during this whole experience and just wanted to go. My friends and I work in the restaurant industry and know how it is so we walked in being patient. We were all excited for the experience but it went downhill the longer we were there. I will never be going to this location ever again. The servers name was Pedro and I don’t know the name of the manager but if he yelled at me who knows how he treats the employees there. 0/5...
Read moreMy friends and I dined in earlier today for Cinco de Mayo. The quoted wait time was 45 minutes, we waited an hour, that wasn’t an issue. We sat down and it took us over 10 minutes to even be greeted, that also wasn’t an issue. All 3 of us work in restaurants and we know how it can be so we are very patient. Our appetizer came out with our food. My friend had ordered a shrimp dish and the shrimp were served in this sauce she didn’t like. I tried the sauce as well and it just wasn’t good. The menu said it had traces of garlic but it was more like traces of soap. We asked our server if she could get something else instead and he said she would still have to pay for the shrimp dish. Which makes no sense. She barely had 2 bites. It sounds like they don’t do comps on food but 1st of all that’s something that should be stated on the menu or atleast be made known. 2nd of all that completely takes away from the hospitality that restaurants are supposed to have. It’s the SERVICE industry. I could understand if this was a smaller family owned business that doesn’t do comps but this place literally has 6 locations. Comping off a 17 dollar meal won’t hurt it one bit. We asked for the manager and he said the same thing, that she would have to pay full price for it still. However when he was speaking to her, he was very loud and demeaning. It turned all our appetites off. Besides THAT situation there’s unfortunately even more. My other friend, when we were ordering told the server that she would need to do a takeout order for her husband and daughter at home. He then said that they cant do any take out orders because of Cinco de Mayo. Not sure how true that was because when we were sitting upfront waiting I saw a few people picking up takeout orders. Whatever she just ordered it for dine in and boxed it up at the table. Well me and my friend ordered the same thing, the mixed fajitas. When she ordered she asked if instead of the "guacamole salad" if she can do extra rice and beans. Server said yes and then when the food came out she had extra rice but no beans so she asked for them. Afterwards when we got our checks she had a 3 dollar charge for beans. The fajitas are supposed to come with beans and when she pointed that out he said they dont. Well like I said, we got the same thing, and mines came with beans. And it says it on the menu. When we pointed that out to him he said that he has only been there for 2 weeks, and to take it (the charge for the beans) out the tip. I understand it was Cinco de Mayo, their busiest day of the year, but that doesnt mean quality of service should be put aside and not given any effort. As I said earlier my friends and I all work in restaurants. We know what its like and we walked into this knowing we werent going to have the quickest service ever because of how busy it was. But the lack of service was insane. I forgot to mention we werent offered refills at any point, and we were never checked on either, each time our server came to our table it was because we had to ask for him. We were really excited for this but it was a sad experience and we probably won’t be back ever again. I hope they address those issues and work on their...

My friends and I decided on this place for dine in on Cinco de Mayo. Let me start off by saying, we all work in the restaurant industry so we came in being very patient and considerate on the fact that they were very busy because of the holiday. Took us about an hour to be seated then about another 20 minutes to be greeted once we sat down, which wasn’t an issue to us. We ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. The table next to us who were seated AFTER us got their drinks, appetizers and entrees before us. Which again, we weren’t super mad about. Our appetizer ended up coming along with our meals. My friend and I ordered the mixed fajitas and my other friend ordered a shrimp entree. Her entree was disgusting, she couldn’t even take two bites of it. Our waiter never came to check on us so we had to ask a waitress nearby to get our waiter. Once he came, my friend explained to him how she didn’t like her meal and would like to order something else, to which he seemed very annoyed about and stated that she would have to pay for the meal she didn’t like as well. How can they make you pay for a meal you didn’t like??? That didn’t make any sense so we asked for a manager. The manager came over and said the same thing, and also tried to make my friend feel stupid by stating how she got what ordered and asking her if she read the description of the meal. Regardless of what the description says, if it tastes disgusting, WHY SHOULD SHE STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT? Anyways we asked for our checks and boxes because we were ready to leave. Once I received my check I noticed an extra charge of beans on my tab. When brought to the waiter’s attention, he lied and told me my meal didn’t come with beans so he added it on as extra. Like I said earlier, my friend and I ordered the same thing and she got beans with hers. When I told the waiter that, he again looked very annoyed and asked ME if I can just take the charge out of his tip. HOW DOES THAT EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE? So I’m being forced to pay for something that was supposed to come with my meal??? Safe to say, this place is VERY unprofessional. It’s like they threw all their common sense and customer service out the window because they were busy.
We will NOT be coming back and I will also be contacting corporate because the whole...
