UPDATE/ 11-01-2020 We went here again and wanted to get a meal with couple coupons we had. Initially they handled it kind of badly, keeps asking me same questions again and again on my order. I got to the window, and I gave my coupons to the cashier, but he didn't seem to look at it and charged whatever to my card. I asked them if the coupons applied, and the manager came and took care of everything. Chicken was good, fries were good, and it seemed like the manager was still training them. I'm giving them a 4 star instead of lower stars because the manager was really nice. He cared about his customers and if there is mistake, he seemed like a person who is quick to fix it and he will try his best. Hopefully the employees will learn a lot from him!
PAST REVIEW/ Horrible service, I ordered chicken sandwich, and 5 piece chicken tenders with fries and Sprite. First of all, it had no freaking chicken tenders in the box, there were only fries, I was driving so I came back pretty far to realize this. And I was irritated so I tried the Sprite and it tasted like seltzer water, no Sprite in there at all. Horrible service to begin with but I love popeyes chicken so I was expecting my food to be actually there but there was nothing but fries. Do not go to this one here, go to the one on Great Mills Rd instead, they have better service and better trained people that serves you. Never had this problem until I tried this branch, they always...
Read moreJust here to hold folks accountable. I used to manage a Burger King so I am sympathetic to fast food workers to an extent. My 6 month old is sick so I went out to get a pick up order from target to avoid bring him around more germs. It’s late, I’m tired, I have 2 other children that are hungry and so I’m I. Unfortunately, I have dietary restrictions and I can’t have the breaded chicken. I like the blackened tenders and I can have them. I go and order meals for my children. I ask for the blackened tenders and I’m informed that they are out for the day. I get wanting to close down and being prepared to get out of there but when it’s literally the only food people with restrictions can eat, you need to be willing to cook more. It doesn’t take but 5 minutes in my experience waiting on blackened tenders. I’m a firm believer that if someone is paying you to do a job, you do your job and sell their food regardless if it’ll make you stay 5 more minutes at the end of the night. You might as well be stealing because you’re costing your employer to lose money in that transaction and in the future because I’m not coming risking...

Food Safety Concern – Popeyes Chicken, California, MD
To Whom It May Concern,
I am submitting this complaint to formally report unsanitary food-handling practices I observed today, August 10, 2025, at the Popeyes Chicken located in California, Maryland.
After receiving the wrong items in a drive-through order, I returned to the restaurant to have it corrected. When I handed back an unopened cole slaw that had been transported to my home, opened, and unrefrigerated for over 25 minutes, the manager placed it back into the restaurant’s refrigerator instead of discarding it.
Additionally, while preparing a replacement food item, I witnessed the same manager open a sealed food package by placing it in her mouth. This direct contact with her mouth before serving the product to a customer is a clear food safety violation and raises serious concerns about hygiene and contamination risk.
These actions, in my view, represent a breach of standard safe food-handling procedures and warrant...
