GameStop — Local services in Solomons

So where do I begin? I loved going to this GameStop for several years, but recently they have just been all out of sorts. Let's begin with the fact that I asked for them to help me find a game and was told, "You can look it up yourself online." No help, no discussion, just told me to go look online. Next, I saw online they had the game I wanted and called in to ask if it was true they had it in stock and was rudely told no. So I called another GameStop and asked if they had it and was told to go to the California GameStop; they have some in stock. So I go back and asked an employee once again if they had this game. They never looked and never tried checking and was told, "No, it's too old; we wouldn't sell that anymore." So I left disappointed by going in circles. Then eventually, I went today and I asked a different employee, "Can you please actually check your inventory if you have it or not?" and she actually found it in the drawer and said they've had several in stock.

If they just listened to the customer in the first place this wouldn't have happened.

Staff is rude on days they want to.

Always check your games because I've had several instances that I was given a total different game or a different version or even no game at all.

I did what I was supposed to do to secure the 1 of 3 Series X Consoles . I waited in line from 10:12p after going to PF, and to LaPlata which lines were in numbers of 30’s . So I came back. There was 3 people in line. A Mom, Kid, and Dad. When I got there they said oh boy you might as well turn around because the 3 X Consoles are called for. I asked so someone just left their kid out here. I let her know they said one per household. They wanted all three. Throughout the night I take photos , videos because they were acting funny bringing in family making it seem like they were waiting in line. I have VIDEO PROOF, PICTURE PROOF where their store lacked because they don’t have cameras facing the lot themselves. There were no other cars in the lot, there was no one else in line. They skipped over me let these people lie to them while I had proof. They pass my earned console to the 4th lady in line she arrived at 4:52a . THEY HAD COPS LOOKING AT ME LIKE A VICTIM I have proof. & THE ONLY REASON I GOT THE CONSOLE is because a lady gave me her Pre-order while in line because she thought it was ridiculous. This will go further than a comment. Will never buy again from this location...

COMPLETE RIP OFF. Traded in a power cord, internet adapter, a COD game, my forza 4 and a controller (all for Xbox 360) towards the DLC version of forza 4. Got home gave me the wrong game. Returned to get the right game and magically they don't have it even though the case is on the shelf. Gave me my original game back (which wont let me download the car packs) and a $10 in store credit card. So between the two transactions they basically bought everything I traded in for a $10 gift card which on the original trade in receipt showed the internet adapter was worth $9 alone. Went back in to get all my stuff back with both receipts and gift card and the manager told me they can't because they can't void trade ins.
