First time shopping at Hobby lobbyâs and last time (at least this specific location). After spending an hour going through the store, and picking up supplies based on their SALE signs.. I found out that the signs posted are a very misleading. They mean nothing and no, the items you pick directly below the big red signs that says 40% off are not 40% off. This isnât in one location, itâs across the whole store. Their prices are inflated by a lot! For example, I noticed their flip flops listed at $15 the exact same ones I got at Five below for $5 I mean identical item!!! Also, why do they manually enter price listed at the register? They donât have sku to scan? especially nowadays.. odd that the receipt says floral or jewelry mkn.. doesnât say which flower or type it is or which jewelry making item.. strange!! Not to mention the condescending blond girl with a pretend and a terrible âvalleyâ accent. Note: the lady in front of me had the exact issue with their pricing and questioned why her items were not on sale as she got them from the sale isle⊠so itâs wasnât just me, and in fact if the other person didnât question anything, Iâd probably just let them ring everything through without question.. so thank you to that lady that was buying kids stuff! You helped me save a bunch of money⊠Anyways just strange, very very strange experience.Iâll continue shopping at Michaelâs, at least I donât have to waste time trying to decipher the price of an item. Definitely never setting foot at this place ever again. Hope this helps people to keep an eye on...
Read moreI have been in this store a few times, not many. I spent an hour looking at different thing and made my selections, but left the store with nothing. I get in line at the register with one customer in front of me. This person needed a refund for an item that was missing stickers and had a purchase to make. Three associates were there, one on register 2 with the customer; one standing beside register 1; and one standing in front of me looking at dates on candy. After waiting in line for 5 mins the tall manager like person (male) with a gold badge takes the person beside lane 1 for another duty. The candy checker still checking candy and talking with the register operator. Customer still talking about missing stickers apparently to herself because nothing was getting resolved there after a 10 min wait to be checked out. After 13 mins , I left my merchandise and walking out the store while the first customer was waiting for someone to approve her refund. There was no acknowledgement, no eye contact, no smile, nothing to me as I waited one shopping cart length away from 3 associates and a gold badge manager in the checkout lane. There are other craft stores in the area that make me feel welcomed and more important that a date on a...
Read moreReturn policy is awful unfortunately. Ordered wooden crafts online to have the kids paint. Most came broken so decided to return them. They said they couldnât return them because some were broken. Yes, thatâs what I informed them, I received them broken. After going back and forth for 5 minutes asking what I can do about the broken items that were sent to me they called a District Manager of some sort over who (thankfully), happened to be in the store that day. She said go ahead and return them because it was received broken. I had the credit card that I made the purchase with and my receipt. Yeah we went back and forth again about it being returned to the original form of payment. They flat out said they cannot return anything to a credit card and it had to be a gift card (even though I had my receipt and I showed them their return policy on their website). They claimed their register doesnât have the ability to return to a credit card. With Michaelâs and other stores nearby Iâll just...
