We went there twice. First time I had the BLT since it had been a while since I'd had one. Next day I ordered the Froghorn Leghorn fried chicken sandwich. Delicious - like a chick-fil-a sandwich but deli style. The first day my fries came out about time I was done with my sandwich. They were hot and they were good, just tardy. Day two, the same server-lady made sure my fries were ontime, actually even before the sandwich came out. I was good with that, so all good. Oh, the dished usually have a movie/TV-themed name for the dishes, that's where the name Showtime comes from. Nothing new and fancy about the place, just a good ol' deli to fill your belly (hey, that rhymed).
12 MARCH 2020 VISIT: WOW! Now and again I make a business trip to Lexington Park. As long as Tavia is working here, I will continue to stop in here every time I visit! She remembered my order from many months ago. This visit I ordered a deli-style, thin-sliced 100% all natural turkey sandwich on a Kaiser roll (delicious by the way) with chips as my side. She asked me if I wanted fries like I ordered last visit. Months ago. Very impressive. The service is spot-on from all the staff as well. Plus the food is also worth the trip. We eat as a group and everyone loved their meal. The Ruben guy, the BLT guy, the Pastrami guy. All fresh food and fantastic, hot off the grill. If your passing thru and looking for a no-kidding good meal at a good price, stop here. Oh yeah, since the theme is nostalgic movie decor, looking around while you nosh is interesting. If you stop in, tell...
Read moreI rarely write a review (this is prob my 2nd)...but doing now because I was impressed. I came in this last Wed at lunch with my 2 yr old granddaughter to order lunch to-go for my family. My kids had just moved to town and were unpacking boxes while I checked out a local lunch spot. The woman who took my order was gracious as I stumbled through the menu...and she was a gem with my granddaughter and extra kind after learning we were new in town. She brought over another co-worker who visited with us while we waited and also brought some crayons for my GD. Treated us like family. The food was superb. Generous portions of meat and fresh bread.... we tried the corned beef, a hot pastrami, chicken salad, and the Philadelphia story. All Fantastic. Wish I lived in town...but the kids have claimed their new "spot" in town. ...
Read moreA go-to spot for lunch when I'm in Pax. The staff is super friendly but the service is painfully slow/incompetent at times. The last time I was there we waited ~20 mins before someone realized we hadn't been served... Apparently the ticket was lost. Anywho, there was maybe four other customers inside, give or take, so it was a little frustrating to find out 20 minutes later that they weren't even making our food. We put in our order for a second time, which came back wrong on my end and uncooked for my coworker. I sent mine back in hopes for a quick fix (just wanted bacon on my turkey club) but another solid 5 to 10 minutes later my sandwich was returned exactly the same. I recommend waiting for your food inside for visibility. But other than the food is pretty legit...
