St. Inie's Coffee — Restaurant in Maryland

This place is a parents dream come true. Half of the building is dedicated to kids of all age. It is full of toys, books, and comfy couches. I bring my toddler here and can enjoy a great pour over while she has a blast playing with other kids and all of the toys available. This is perfect with colder days approaching. The other half of the building is what you would imagine when you think of a higher end coffee shop. There is a great ambiance and tons of books to chose from. St. Inies is a really lovely place to visit! You can feel the community-building intention with offerings like Sunday dinners and clothing trades. The atmosphere and books feel eclectic - anything from nature poetry like Ross Gay, to Toni Morrison, with beloved books for very cheap! The coffee is freshly roasted. The space has couches and local art/books. It’s cozy. The kids room has lots of toys, so families flock here. However, I feel unwelcome by the staff. I asked a member to open the kids room during crafts night, and they refused. I did not come because of it. This particular worker is curt during multiple interactions with them. Wonderful! This is by far the best coffee shop I've ever been to! Courteous staff, a clean and wonderful setup (absolute heaven for bibliophiles!) - and the noms and drinks are divine! Oh gods the coffee alone is reason enough for such ample praise - lovely choices available every day, ethically sourced and diverse - and brewed absolutely perfectly! (YES, they do bloom it and IT IS AMAZING!) The pastries are lovely and made without any processed products - my particular favorites are the vegan berry croissant and the ham and cheese croissant! Tea selection is similarly diverse, and the staff always have excellent recommendations! Lovely local products available, and an excellent supply of coffee/tea accessories to boot! Love love LOVE...
