I visited the Starbucks located at Route 1 S & Mountain Road in Fallston today and had an unpleasant experience. When I walked in, the four employees working at the front counter looked at each other and continued talking while I stood there waiting to order. None of them initially stepped up to assist me, and when they finally did, they were whispering to one another throughout the interaction, which made me feel uncomfortable as a guest. When I ordered a medium coffee, the cashier asked again what size I wanted. I repeated “medium,” but the way she responded made me feel as though I was being mocked. After I completed my order, the employees gathered together again and continued whispering, which created an unwelcoming environment. Read moreTonight was a game changer. My daughter and I decided to try a new Starbucks. Words aren’t enough to describe the attentive, friendly, warm greeting we received from Anna, Bee, and Selena. Not to mention, Anna made my caramel macchiato outstanding and provided us with the perfect recipe she made for my drink. All three girls engaged with my daughter and me and not only made us feel welcomed but also put a smile on our faces to outshine the hate that our world is currently experiencing. They exemplified what our world needs, and our entire family will be returning all because of Anna, Bee, and Selena. Read moreCrooked Starbucks location! Starbucks has implemented a new tipping system where you have to hit tip or hit the no tip button. The tips or not percentages, they are 1, 2, or 5 dollars. I did not see this new screen and used my card's tap function to pay. If you do this, it automatically defaults to $5.00. I paid a 100% tip without my consent because I did not elect an option. When I pointed out this out to the barista, I was rudely told it is a new system and they could do nothing and I could call corporate if I wanted. They would not give me back my money.
