I was on the phone with my partner as she placed her sandwich order, and I couldn't help but notice the glaring lack of basic courtesy from the employee. While my partner greeted her with politeness, the employee failed to reciprocate any pleasantries. My partner ordered a 12-inch sub and specifically asked for the meat to be toasted, not the bread. Instead of clarifying her request, the employee rudely assumed she would toast the entire sandwich without asking for confirmation.
When my partner reiterated that she only wanted the meat toasted, the employee reacted with visible frustration. This led to a brief exchange that escalated to my partner canceling her order and deciding to take her business elsewhere. As she was leaving, she asked for the employee's name to file a formal complaint, to which the employee dismissively responded, "What do you need my name for?"
This behavior is unacceptable. It's disheartening to see how some businesses, regardless of being franchises, feel entitled to treat customers—especially customers of color—disrespectfully. This needs to change. We deserve a better standard of...

After the incident with the sub, the manager reached out to me and actually spoke to me about the situation. He was very apologetic and reassured me that this was not a regular thing with the store. Previous Post: I just left this Subway around 6 this evening. After eating most of my sub, I just noticed a fine hair in the second half of my sub. Please, please, PLEASE make sure your employees’ hair is secured while preparing customers food. The customer service was good, and this was my second time going here (no complaint about the first time) but after this incident, I probably won’t be returning. I feel sick to my stomach thinking about possibly ingesting more hair before noticing the one at the end of my sub....

I understand it’s Sunday and you don’t want to work but don’t project that onto the customers. Also if the subways website and app states your store is running a deal it’s running a deal. The fact that he didn’t want to go double check and just said no is crazy to me. Then while making my sandwich he started huffing and puffing everytime I ask for more of an item. This subway location needs to talk to him about the way he...
