The Caribbean Stop Take out & Catering — Restaurant in Maryland

We ordered Escovitch Kingfish, callaloo, and okra to be picked up on February 24th, 2024. When we got home and ate the food, we didn't talk much because it was so delicious and we had plenty left over for the next day. I always have a wonderful experience with the food and service this is my favorite establishment. It's always great to find a place that consistently delivers excellent quality and taste. Chef Marvin and his wife Stacey have created a welcoming environment that keeps you coming back. I've been coming to this establishment for at least five years and I always enjoy the well-seasoned and moist fish. Whether it's salmon, snapper, or kingfish. I've never been disappointed. Caribbean Stop is amazing, both food and service. The owners are as lovely to deal with. The food is delectable, perfectly prepared. We found them to cater a party and will most definitely return. Wonderful experience all around. It is take-out only so there is no dine-in "atmosphere" to rate, but the atmosphere they create with their business is friendly, attentive, and kind. If you want to be transported by food to the Caribbean, look no further. The wonderful allspice sauce and smoky jerk chicken, plantains and fried savory pies brought back memories of the islands. Ok Mrs.Stacey and her family are very sweet and accommodating. I had the pleasure of trying their jerk wings (perfect amount of spicy) chicken noodle soup which was also delicious and hearty, the curry goat which was just phenomenal and cooked to perfection ugh! Oh and plantains… yes I’m a fat girl at heart lol I feel like the goat stole the sho. I also had their jerk chicken platter which was what they’re known for and it did not disappoint, and last but not least the curry chicken patty.
